My husband and I are going for a 3 day trip. It will be our first time going without the kiddos. What places do you recommend for just chilling out and having a few drinks? Is there a list somewhere of all the locations with a bar?
I also had read that there was Woodpecker cider somewhere at Epcot. Where can this be found?

can be found at Rose & Crowne Pub in United Kingdom at EPCOT. That is a nice place to hang for a couple of drinks. As is some of the hotel lounges....Animal Kingdom Lodge, Contemporary, The Port Orleans has a piano type bar, Raglan Road. They are a few. There are many others....

Off the top of my head, from places we've been. There are others.

PARKS

MK: none. Outer Rim at the Contemporary is closest.

Epcot:
(Mexico) Cantina de San Angel. Not really a bar, but you can get beer and margaritas.
(Norway) used to have a Ringnis beer stand outside, but I don't recall seeing it in January.
(Germany) beer stand out by the lagoon. You can also get beer and licquers at Sommerfest, but again, it's not a bar. We like to grab a couple of beers and a bratwurst and sit on a bench by the lagoon.
(Japan) Matsu No Ma lounge. Quiet, pricey, good indoor view of the lagoon.
(France) Gotta be a wine bottle around there somewhere. We just go for pastries.
(England) Rose & Crown Pub. Noisy, crowded, but a good time can be had. Beer stand outside, too.
(Canada) Beer stand outside by the lagoon.

Studios:
Tune-In Lounge at 50's Prime Time Cafe. Usually can't get a seat due to the people waiting for their tables. Not recommended.
Hollywood Brown Derby: not a bar (5 seconds of silence for the late, great Catwalk Bar). HOWEVER, it's a great place for a quiet drink or two and some appetizers, or split an authentic Cobb Salad. Home of the Key Lime Martini, at least as far as I'm concerned.

AK:
Dawa Bar. Nice place to stop and watch the world go by, and there's live entertainment every so often.

RESORTS

(Contemporary) Outer Rim. Usually not very crowded.
(Polynesian) Tambu Lounge. Love the theming, but service is spotty.
(Old Key West) Gurgling Suitcase. Yuengling on tap.
(Boardwalk) ESPN - pretty good sports bar. Bellevue Lounge - opens late, nice place until the convention lets out. Jellyrolls - dueling pianos. Atlantic Dance - ghost town with a cover charge.

DD

Raglan Road. BIG bar. Rumors of dancing on the tables after 9pm.

Definitely check out Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk. My wife and I go there a few times each trip.

We love the Mai Tai's at the lounge in the POLY.
We get them every year.
CSR has a nice Mexican themed bar with appetizers.

House of Blues outside bar. Great in the evening when they have live music.

My criteria are that it should have a bar to sit at. It should be a full service bar (more or less, no one drink wonders). Cocktail servers are a plus but not required (this is my out to allow Dawa in. :) )

Favorite Outdoor Bar: Dawa at Animal Kingdom. Love a margarita or two

Favorite indoor Bar: Tie: Victoria Falls at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Outer Rim at the Contemporary

Most Beautiful Bar: blueZoo

May they RIP Bars:
Catwalk Bar
Matsu No Ma Lounge at the Japanese Pavillion: They have turned it into part of Tempura Kiku

Honorable Mentions:

Belle Vue
Fulton Crab House Lounge

We love Jellyrolls and ESPN on the Boardwalk. Also, try Raglan Road and the little Margarita shack on the water at DTD/Marketplace. Have fun!

1st trip without the kids and you are looking for bars...sounds like this calls for the monorail drink your way around..lol.

Hope on the monorail, stop at the Poly, they have a great bar upstairs, stop at the contemporary, also a great bar..4th floor I believe, and then the GF. Only the outside bar open during the day.

Stopping at AKL is always nice, we skip Victoria Falls and head straight down to the little bar at Jiko (if you are going in the evening). The bartenders are fantastic, and you can get food if you want. Pool bar at AKL is also nice.

WL also has a great bar inside, and we enjoy the pool bar there as well. Just depends on what time of day you are going.

Inside AK we stop at the bar back by Tusker House..you will find it gets very busy, lol, especially when it is warm.

Inside EPCOT (World Showcase), we stop for drinks in all the countries..no favorite, we like them all..lol. :rotfl2:

Inside MGM, never really stopped for just drinks, but I think there is a bar in 50's Prime Time Cafe. They do have some good wines there as well.

Now in downtown disney....We love Raglan Road..it opens at 3pm. Nice bar in House of Blues also.
