Aimee I just saw this comment and thought I would share!

We picked up Mats for frames (that we left at home). We are giving the mats to the front desk with a box of sharpies in which they will have all the characters sign! I am then going to print out a pic of each guest from the trip to give to them a thank you! Even with out the pic what a cute idea and free souvenir! They will also sign a pillow if you want to give to a child!

I love the frames in the thread, were they time consuming? I am currently working on some other projects and feel like time is flying!!!

I have gotten all of my card stock at Joann's. Do you have one? They always have 40% off single item coupons. I love the fans too, I don't know if I will have time to try them. I have a Cricut with the mickey head but I am not sure how I would ever get it to go through the printer and if I printed before, it wouldn't be centered... Let me know if you try it. I love Lisa's (Rob).

We do have a JoAnn's here. I never thought to go there. I think I am just going to skip the whole program idea. We are not making too many changes to the ceremony, but adding a poem or reading by our sons. I have been reading up on the wine ceremony. That sounds interesting. I just don't think I would have enough information to put in a program.

I do love how Lisa's turned out, but I cannot justify the $50 I would spend on them. I think I would rather spend that money somewhere else.

Please steal away....It took me an afternoon to paint the red, yellow and black on them and then another day a few more hours to add the clear coat (not sure what it is called), the letters, and the mickey heads. I got the frames at Michaels and they were on sale for 33 cents each The paint was 99 cents each, and the stencils I got from Walmart for $4. The whole project was less than $15....

I am also putting together a CD of my (ours, not really...my) favorite Disney Songs. This was also pretty cheap to do. I also scored white, locker size, dry erase boards from the dollar store for each stateroom. I had the magnets made from VistaPrint for free and am giving each guest a travel size kleenez, in case tears are shed

I think the total I spent per family/individual guest is less than $5. I just hope everyone likes them......

I got my girls their wedding gifts....hopefully no one is reading this.....I am givng them a Mickey head necklace that my mom picked up for me when she was at the parks last month. I am also going to look for a small jewerly box for them and I am plannng on payng for their pedicures that we are planning on getting while in Port Canaveral. I also got them a hair piece to wear on the wedding day and a tank top that says Matron of Honor and Bridesmaid. I hope that is ok?? Now just to think of something for my parents? Any suggestions?

I am also planning on ordering a small pail basket from Shirley that is recomemded from the cruise boards for my flower girl. She too has a t-shirt being made that says flower girl and I got her a bag of Disney goodies like a beach towel, puzzles, books, etc. I think she will like it

We still have to get something for the Best Man and our sons who are the groomsmen andd Quincy's parents, but we really have until our at home reception to get those.

I turned in our documents about a week ago to Shanda. Of all the plannning I did, I forgot the cake selection page I will post our selections when I get home....I cannot remember for the life of me what songs I picked.

I am hoping to hear something soon from her.....

On another note...our marriage license is in the mail

We also rented Quincy's suit last night. I am happy we decided to go with a tux and it was only $140 to rent it. No extra costs because we are renting it for less than a week. That made me happy

Second dress fitting for me on 9/17...hope the top and the whole dress fits better.

And finally...my shower is on Saturday!!!! I am super excited. That just means that the wedding is right around the corner.

I had my shower last week Saturday and it was wonderful. I am so thankful for everything people got us. It had hints of Disney without going overboard! I will post pictures as soon as I can get on my laptop. It is sooooo slow...

I had what I though was my first dress fitting today. Turns out she finished it!!! It fits perfectly!!!! Those extra 8 pounds I lost really made a difference
