I just purchased some porcelain flower hairpins for my hair and it got me thinking about who I would have do my hair on my wedding day. I've looked through past threads on the forum and saw that Lisa came highly reccomended, which is good because I really like the styles she has in her gallery. However, I will be staying at the Beach Club and could just as easily walk down to Periwigs at the Yacht Club and have my hair done there. So I've heard the accolades about Lisa, but has anyone had Periwigs do their hair?

We are using Lisa for myself and my daughter for our vow renewal in two weeks. We will also be at the Beach Club. It seemed easier to have her come to the room where we can just be in a robe and then not have to put anything over our heads than trotting down to the salon in clothing and then having to come back and change clothes, etc. She is also doing my make-up. Also, seemed more time-effective for us. She is coming at 12:30 for our 4:00 vow renewal.

Allison - go to her site and then click on Picture Gallery on the left side. There are several pages in the Gallery.

I would choose Lisa since you know she has lots of experience doing wedding hair/makeup. She did my makeup (back when she was part of Disney Cosmetology), and she was terrific!

I had Lisa too. She was fabulous, however, I stayed at the Yacht club and just before Lisa arrived I went to Periwigs to get my nails done. They told me they do bridal hair & makeup too. My sister in law had her hair & makeup done at periwigs, and they did it beautifully.
I think they both charge roughly the same. I suppose if you are having nails done too it might be worth spending a few hours at Periwigs and be in one place.
It wa snice having Lisa come to our room, but when 7 of us were getting done, it was a little hectic to say the least.

Thanks to everyone who responded! I knew beforehand that Lisa came highly reccomended, but as Janine mentioned I had actually planned on having my nails done at Periwigs, which was why I was wondering if I should have an in-room hair session. I'm doing makeup myself because I have a lot of experience at that, but I'm clueless on how to do my hair. Well I do have a while to decide. Maybe when I go down to Disney for my planning visit in August I'll swing by Periwigs and see what they say.
