I read the book by Candace bushnell (also the writer of the Sex and the City book) and enjoyed it....hope it lives up to that!

Already saw it I hosted a House Party to watch the premiere this week.

It's okay - none of us saw it as a 'must see' but it looks like it'll be better than Cashmere Mafia.

Is it just me or is Brooke Shields just not looking very good these days, though? It might have been the makeup-- she needs a softer look, maybe!

It is ok, I will give it a few more tries, but so far I like Cashmere Mafia better. That might just be because it has had more time to develop.

As far as Andrew goes, there was a moment last night that really reminded me of him in Joy Luck Club. I loved him in that. The moment when his wife blew up at him and he just sat down and listened. I can't remember the whole thing, but my heart melts every time.

I admit, I am going to be watching it more to see him........................

We actually talked about that at the party - esp in one scene, she looked tired and old. A friend of mine thought they had made her look like that for the role - tired and worn out. But I don't know.
