After all these trips to DLRP and even though we love west end style theatre we have yet to see this show. So for us it is a must next trip. I have read you have to get tickets to see this (and make sure you get them for the English show!) But where do you get the tickets from and at what time? Even during all our trips I have never actually seen it advertised in the park that you need to have a ticket, I have only read this on the internet and in guide books.

You used to need tickets, but you don't anymore. You will see on the information boards, or the park schedule, which versions are in English every day. You just head for the theatre about half an hour before the show is due to start, and queue at the entrance until they let you in to find a seat (there is usually a mad rush to get the best seats :rotfl: ).

Agree with Elaine, get there about 30mins prior and you should be ok.

I love this show - Do try and see it if you can. I could sit through it over and over again

Hi, you need to queue in discoveryland to get the tickets at 11am or 3pm if my memory serves me right. I think its a bit of a pain wasting valuable time in DLRP standing around in a queue at a set time so I would recommend eating in Cafe Hyperion at the time the show is on. You can get a table really close to the show either alongside or above the theatre style seats. You get a cracking view of the show and no wasted queue time! You will need to be there in good time though because people have sussed that this is the best way to see the show.

That explains why I have never seen the fact you need tickets advertised in the parks then!!
We'll get there early just in case!
Thanks guys.

You no longer need to queue to get tickets for the show.

While sitting in Cafe Hyperion is a good standby it is IMHO nowhere near as good an experience. The look on my DD's face when Nalia and Timon were just beside her was priceless
:goodvibes

it is a great show.
i don't think it detracts too much from it if it is in french tbh.
it's very visual.
it is amazing if you can sit in the front row.
but if you 'just' miss it, you can go into cafe hyperion, and instead of joining a massive queue which will still be there by the end of the show, you can go all the way through to the rope between the cafe and the theatre seating.
if you stand there you can see the show, but also the cast member policing the area may look for spare seats if you ask nicely and if anyone has to leave you will get their seat.

I'm with Reid in that the best way to see the show for the first time is actually in the theatre but if you don't want to wait then time it with a snack in the restaurant, you'll still really enjoy it.

Last October and again this August the CMs policing the entrance to the upstairs seating area were making sure people had bought food/drinks first before letting anyone into the restaurant, there was no sending part of your party ahead to find seats, so be aware in case this is a permanent thing.

You will love this show! I absolutely adore it! If you can, sit at the ends of the benches, the cast come off the stage and shake your hand. We went to see it last Jan about 3 times and we managed on those ocassions to get second row as it was pretty quiet..my daughter would not let anyone sit at the edge where she was, she's only 7 but she made people climb over her instead of just 'skooshing' over...thats my girl!:rotfl:

Pity we aren't going to see it next Jan as its closing on the 4th Jan!:sad1: :sad1: Think its going to be a high season show????:confused3 I'm going to really miss it big style!
