Linking to a person's disney app?

So I know it might be obvious but forgive me, last time I was there was 2006.
I am the point person for our trip. I want my friend to download the Disney app and have access to what I see on my account. I need her to be able to open the hotel room with her phone and help make Genie+ selections.
After she downloads the app what does she do to do this? Please help

1. You have to create a My Disney Experience account on the website, not the app, for yourself and either make a profile for her on your MDE account, or have her make her own profile, then invite her to connect as friends sharing all activities.
2. She has to be listed in your room reservation in order to open the hotel room door.
3. If you create a profile for her on your MDE account, then you would need to give her your log in and password so that she could download the MDE app. If she creates her own MDE account on the website, then she would use her own log in and password to access the shared information for your trip.
4. She will able to make Genie+ reservations and see all plans and hotel information once she is set up to see all plans.

OK. So I have an account. I have room booked, she is listed. And I have tickets already bought for her and I. So in my account she's already listed as my party.

So does she make a new account online? or is there something I'm supposed to do so that when she logs in she can see it? (since I already have her in mine) I hope that made any sense

She doesn't have to make her own account . I think that she just needs to download the MDE app and then use your log in and password to be able access everything.

OK I was thinking there was a way for her to have her own account without using my login.

She can create her own account. One challenge is that you already have her hotel and ticket linked to the profile in your account. So if she creates her own, she may need to contact WDW to merge the profile on your account with her new account.

Have her make her own MDE account.

In the app, not website, open up your Family & Friends list and tap on her name. Then farther down, under Share Plans, are two different ways to connect to her. If she is physically close enough for you to scan her Linking Code with your phone, click that and scan it. If she is not physically close enough, or if you otherwise prefer, click Send Email and then enter the email address she used to create her MDE account.

OR, on the website, open your F&F list and click her name, then click Update. Then click Share Planning with [her name] and enter the email address she used to create her MDE.

She will have to accept your request to share plans. That should link both of you and also transfer any tickets or room reservations, etc. to her account. If that doesn't work, call Disney IT at 407-939-4357 - they are wonderful and will straighten things out easily!

Thanks so much, I will try this when I see her in a few days. Just wondering, when you say transfer any tickets and room resies you mean she will just have a copy as well right? As much as I want her to have access I need to be the one with power too lol. I'm too OCD for anything else

She will be able to unlock the room door. She will also have control of her ticket, which means that if she doesn’t use her ticket, she would have to be the one to change the dates on it or to reassign it to someone else (who could be you).
