linking reservations

I have existing reservations in November and I need to add a day.

I was thinking of renting points for this stay as I don't have enough (like 35 short) haha how does that happen

HOW do I link the 2 reservations..Since one is on my acct and the other will be from the renters?

I have only linked reservations from 2 different DVC contracts. MS did it for me. The only problem I had was that I could not do the advance check in because of the linked reservation.
