Has anyone has any success linking their DVC resort reservation to Disney Dining reservations? Supposedly I should be able to make dining reservations for up to 10 days after our DVC resort arrival date. The dining website does not recognize my DVC resort reservation number.

Since last year, DVC members have not been able to do on-line 180+10 ADR's using the Disney website and their DVC reservation number. We had this same problem about this last year. I called 407-WDW-DINE and they were not able to override the system. They could see my reservation, but the system would not let them do anything about it. I had to call Member Services, who was able to manually make our reservations, which took forever! The only other option is to log-on and add your ADR's day-by-day until you get to 180 days prior to the last day of your stay.

It really stinks that DVC members are put at this disadvantage, particularly for those difficult to get dining experiences. There are several other threads on this topic, as you might imagine.

Thanks. I will not be on the Dining Plan so this disadvantage shouldn't hurt too much.

I was able to use the WDW dine phone number and they made all of our ressies quickly. We did not need to go through DVC. They said the computer is still an issue, but the phone should be OK now.

I ran into this problem Saturday morning. I didn't have to wait for MS to open. I just called (407) WDW-DINE and they were able to book it for me. I had to wait an extra hour for them to open but I got what I wanted.

That's good to know that WDW-DINE can override the system!

I don't know about others, but I am never able to get my reservation to read both my DVC reservation and dining reservations on the web.

I was wondering why it wasn't working. I have logged in everyday this week to make my reservation. Its good to know i can call wdw dine next time.

I have two linked reservations and only the second one shows up.

I have never had an issue, I do it through the WDW site and not DVC site. Just put in my DVC reservation number and no issues at all for DH and I.

We never link our dining reservation to our resort reservations. ADR's are filed under my phone number. We have never had an issue.

Why do you want to link the ADRs to the reservation? I always make mine through the Disney website but I am new to the DVC boards. I am renting points in June for 2 villas and have a few ADRs... do I need to link them? I am undecided if I am going to do the dining plan or not.

Today is 180 days out from arrival for us, and Disney Website will not link my DVC reservation to give 180+10. Disney reservations will bring up my DVC reservation on the WDW webpage, but still wants me to link a reservation in the dining page, and it will not recognize the DVC reservation on the dining page. I am at work, but may try and call later.

I am 100% sure that I have gotten my DVC to link to dining in the past, but to those who are able to get it to work...kudos...you are lucky.

Add me to the "online wouldn't work" list. Web site wouldn't accept my DVC reservation number a couple of weeks ago. So I called Disney Dining at 7 a.m. and made all the ADRs for my week-long stay.

Add me to that "would not work" list. I know I have been successful in the past but definately would not work this last time. I ended up calling WDW DINE to make my reservations.

I believe these posters are trying to make 10 days of ADRs 180 days from their arrival. In order to do that, you must have a current disney reservation. If the online system does not recognize your hotel reservation, you can only make dining ADRs for the one day at 180 days out.

I wish they would get this bug fixed. Our ADR day is coming up in May fo our Thanksgiving trip and I really like the convience of doing the ADRs online.

I was unable to do the 180 +10 online as well, but the CM I spoke with told me unfortunately it's not just tied to DVC reservations. She said her mornings are typically spent helping people make 180 +10 reservations and most of them are not DVC. She apologized and said it started happening when a credit card was required. It's a known bug they are working on .... I guess.
