This might sound like a dumb question, but I wouldn't have thought about it if I didn't see this thread. A friend of mine will be bringing her special needs (Battens Disease) son to WDW, and he is starting to have problems with bladder control. He is 18 and wears adult diapers in case of accidents. I never thought about swimming pool requirements at WDW...I know on the cruise ship, kids have to be potty trained and they do not allow swim diapers. Will he be allowed to go in the resort pools with the diapers mentioned on this thread, or do you have to be "in control" to use them? I think it is mainly his bladder that he is having problems with now.
