Lines in Songs You Thought Were Right But Weren't!!

Ok, so what are some lines of a song(s) that you thought you were singing correctly, then someone comes along and laughs hysterically at you?

I'll start. My husband (sorry honey!) thought that the music in "Ferris Buller's Day Off" the "chic, chic-a, chic-a. bom, bom, bom..." was actually "Leave it to God!!"

My stepdaughter thought "When a Man loves a Woman" when sung by Michael Bolton was "When a Man loves a Walnut"!

I had a friend whose mom wouldn't let him see "101 Dalmations" when he was a kid because she thought it was "101 Damnations"!

Back in high school a friend was singing the old "Caribbean Queen" (Billy Ocean - yes, I'm old!) song but she thought it was "Carrots and Peas"!

"Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves" as ......"crab grass, oats, and peas".......... ...............P

Anyways, I thought it was "Leo, Jed and Lionel"

Hardly! I was in highschool, too then! We are as young as we...oh, who am I kidding! My daughter asked me once what it was like before we had the SUN!!!

Ok I have one -- In footloose the line is "shake it shake it for me' and my mom sang it for a REALLY long time as "Save some Chicken for Me"

That's funny! Reminds me of that commerical about the Line "Pour Some Sugar on Me". I can't remember what the guy in the commercial thought was really the line, though!

When I was younger my mom always played the song "Stand By Your Man" by Tammy Wynette. I always thought it was "ten firemen" *LOL*

Big Old Jet airliner was sung by the Steve Miller Band.

hahaha! I can so hear that in "Stand by Your Man!" I will NEVER be able to hear that song again without singing "Ten Firemen" instead!

yes -i've had this freakin' song in my head all day and I can't remember who sings it either !

I've always known it was "Secret AGENT Man" but it always sounds like "Secret ASIAN Man" when the guy sings it.

OH YEAH!!! That's the song, Dan! So, that part is where he thought they were saying, "Leave it to God!" He was shocked when I told him there weren't words in that part!! HAHAHA!
