Linens/tablecloths

Is there an extra fee to have your tablecloths pressed/steamed? I was looking through some photos/planning journals and I noticed several photos where you can clearly see the fold lines in the otherwise beautiful tablecloths. Personally, this would drive me nuts and I am surprised Disney doesn't take care of this on their own. Does anyone know if this is something Disney will do for you and the cost?

OMG - this is something that has been bothering me ever since our wedding. I know it's a small thing, but I *hate* that our chair covers looked like they'd been folded in a box until moments before the ceremony.

I totally wish I'd thought to ask about steaming, although, really, it's something they should do without being asked. But I wouldn't be surprised if they try to charge you for it - I've just never heard of anyone asking. Will you be our guinea pig?

When I send my next email to my WC I'll ask. It would drive me crazy and I would be thinking bridzilla thoughts about that.

I SO agree. This is something I noticed looking at photos before our wedding and I asked about it at our planning session. They said they use folded linens. I did not ask about steaming but definately ask. It drove me crazy in photos also. Actually ours were not too bad. The other thing I said was to make sure the tablecloths were on straight. I remember seeing photos where they were shorter on one side then the other.

I emailed my consultant and got this responce about the chair covers

Yes, we can certainly request all the linens are pressed. This is a detail you will speak to the florist about during the planning.

So apparently you have to request that they press them, they don't do it automatically. Which I think is odd, but I've added it to my floral to do list.

When you find out what the charge is, can you let us know? This should be free but knowing Disney, probably not.
