My tip for getting an early BG:
As our group was counting down to 8:00, I waited about a half second before I hit the button. Our counter said Three, Two, One, Eight (park opened at 8) and in my head I followed with One Thousand One, engaging as I said the second One. I got BG 18 two days in a row. The following day I wasn't there, but my BFF used my trick and magically got BG 18 as well. May have been luck of the draw, but BG 18 three days in a row seems more than coincidental.

I think there’s something to this. Take a quick breath then hit the bottom rather than hitting right at opening.

Seems to me it’s about the same although there are more people at RD, obviously, so it can feel harder at times.

Oh no! Heading there this weekend 7th-8th and was hoping that the virus scare would lesson the crowds. Guess not!

Doesn't seem to have made any difference. I suspect that now a larger number of guests than usual are from out of town and their plans aren't easily changed. Maybe they also think/hope that crowds will be low due to the virus.
