Lindfields Estate

Hi,
Just wondered if anyone has stayed on Lindfields Estate before and if so what was it like?
And also how do you go about picking the keys up. We know its somewhere on the 192 but not sure where. Is it easy to find?
Any replies would be most welcome,

Are you staying in one of the houses, there? My son lives there. It is West on 192. It has a turn lane but no stop light so I have to watch for the stone wall that has Lindsfield written on it.

Once you are there there is a back way to get from Disney to the homes so you don't have to drive so far on 192. From Lindsfield Blvd get on Funie Steed Road to Formosa Gardens to 192. Turn right on 192 . Then make a left on Sherberth Road which takes you onto Disney Property. Just follow the signs to the parks.

With your contract to stay in one of the homes they should tell you who to contact to get the keys.

It is a nice area and only about 10 minutes from Disney. My son loves it there. Kind of a quiet community. Lots of people out walking their dogs after dark so seems pretty safe area.

You see lots of wildlife out by the canals behind some of the houses and every once in a while there is a gator behind my sons house. Watch for the sand hill crane family. The big air balloons take off somewhere West of there and they are low in the sky some mornings. My son's dog is the one that is often seen trying to catch the balloon. People in it are always laughing at him.

Thank you for your reply...lots of useful info there. Yes we've booked a flight and villa with Thomson but we wont know which one till we pick up the keys. Its not till August and I know they'll let us know were but I like tio be prepared.

It's an older development but all villa's are usually maintained to a high standard.
Great location, restaurants, supermarkets, I4 and Disney World all closeby.
So a good place to be.

The homes were built in the 90s but the ones renting to tourists look well maintained If I were forced to live in Kissimmee, I think I would like living in Lindsfield. It is close to Disney and close to Rt. 27 where there is a Lowes and Walmart etc. .

I stayed here the first time we went to Florida for 5 weeks! It was quite a while ago but I remember it being very spacious, clean, lawn neat, pool clean, wildlife everywhere, it was gorgeous.

Although I would love to stay in POP again, my OH doesn't want to lol, so we'll be booking a villa in Lindfields the next time we go.
