Linda's goal = Lose wt + 1/2 marathon 09(encouragement welcome)

Walked for an hour today.Still feel bloated and the scale is screaming at me- I should stay off until TOM actually arrives- going nuts here!

I restrict sodium as much as I can but it is in almost everything.I rinse things off and buy low sodium if it is available.

Wt went up to 164.4 yesterday- today down to 162 but still can't get rings on this a.m.With the H2O and green tea I drink and the amount I go I should be dehydrated by now!

Last night did Bob Harper's dvd on demand- like Jillian's better.

I always gain several lbs during my TOM. It doesn't seem to matter how much I limit my sodium or how much water I drink. It just isn't fair.

Ran 3.64 miles today in 34:59, a 9:36 pace, I'll take it for now.

Then put wind pants on and did the same route on my bike- 19:20, Oh it feels good!

OK first day of running with my brother.He has not run since high school and he has decided to do the 1/2 in January with me.Also the 5k on Friday.

Today ran at the resevoir- 3.25 miles, in 39:24, a 12:07 pace.Not really sure about that because we got lost a couple of times and had to back track- not sure if I shut the Garmin off each time.

He is sore, told him not to get discouraged.I hope he keeps going, he will love it once the newness wears off.

You are crusing! I got back out on the road today after taking care of a roadblock I had encountered (I was using my college course as an excuse not to exercise). I also had a good day on Friday (new permanent position upcoming at work) and that helped to motivate me, I want to get into my cute scrub tops now that i'll be wearing them again for work:)
 
Ran around the resevoir with my brother for 3.27 miles .

Went home and ran 4.05 miles in 38:54, a 9:36 pace.

Today did 3.27 miles in 31:45, a 9:42 pace.
After the run went out for 3.78 miles on my bike in 20 mins.

6 miles today in 59:43, a 9:57 pace.

After the run changed my shoes and socks and headed out for the same 6 miles on my bike.That took 32:22.

Just out in the sun for 45 mins now and thank God spring is here!!!!!!!!!I think I got burned in that time.The sun feels great.

I agree, Linda!:goodvibes We went to the zoo yesterday and it felt so good to be out in the sun!!!:beach: It's nice to not have to put a coat on to go outside.:thumbsup2

Today did 3.28 miles in 31:53, a 9:43 pace then went out for the same route on my bike in 17:19.

I am so sick of myself feeling like I do.I am having hot flashes, aches and pains, not sleeping well and weigh 168.2.I did not feel any of this when I was running all the time.Time to get moving again.

I start again today! We are on a cruise in November and I want to wear a bathing suit without feeling like a sausage.

I also want to run the Applefest again in September this year.

I am hoping for more support here but it is severly lacking this year compared to last year.

Oh well I will just keep myself accountable here.
