My DD and I are going to DisneyWorld September 9th thru the 12th. My questions are what is the best limousine service, how much do I tip, and how far in advance should I book the service? I have seen serveral post on here and was about to go with Tiffany and then I saw serveral bad posts about them. I am really leaning towards the Murray Hill Transportation service. I want a service that will meet us in the baggage claim area with the sign that has our name on it too. We have never done this before so any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
:earsgirl:

I'm in the same boat. We will be going Aug. 1-11. There are 6 adults in our party. I would really like to do a limo - two of the women have never been to Disney (gasp!) - but I'm getting confused with all the tips, choices, etc.

I would love advice on who is the best for the money. I am concerned about luggage, too. Thoughts, suggestions? Please! I need to book SOON!

Thanks a bunch :D

Asking that question is like asking people what is the single best song of all time ;)

Lots of people like Tiffany, lots of people like Murray Hill, lots of people like Happy Limo. Is there one that's head and shoulders better than the others? probably not.

(for the record, I'd probably have to pick Stairway to Heaven, by Led Zepplin ;))

Golden Limo generally offers the best prices. Their service is fantastic. They will meet you right at baggage claim, help with bags, and the tip is not automatic.

Jimmy has received consistently high praise on these baords. In fact I've never read a complaint about him!

Ducklite,

I emailed them for a price quote. When was the last time you used them?

Thx.

I think the biggest part of my confusion is that no two prices seem to include the same things! Some include gratuity, tolls, some not...

I'm still looking, but I did get a quote from Jimmy.

Thanks again for any input!

I wll let you know about FL Tours as soon as I return in a couple of weeks. They gave me the best price for a stretch limo, 4 leg trip. I plan to write a review.

I used Cartiertowncar.com twice and had really good experiences both times. Remember that no company is perfect and what some people have had horrible experiences with, others have had great service--and vice versa. Just call or email around and go with the company you are most comfortable with. Good luck!!

My choice would be Quicksilver. We just used them about a month ago and received excellent service. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I have received good service with Cartier as well :p

We used Quicksilver Tours in June too, and they were wonderful from start to finish. You might want to ask them for a quote.

We just got back and used Happy Limo to/from our resort. They were extremely efficient, on-time, vehicles spotless and there were no hidden charges. Total bill for a stretch limo both ways was $303 included everything (tolls AND tip.)--Not a penny more.

I accessed them through the Sanford's website link of ground transportation. I'm sure they service Orlando International as well. We will definitely use Happy Limo on our next trip.

My DS just used FL Tours this past week and was very happy with the service.

I always use FL Tours. The most recent time for us was the end of May. On that trip, there were 6 of us. We had a van with DVD player. (We didn't want to watch anything, but it was pretty neat.)

It's always been my experience that the driver was waiting for us in the Baggage claim area. He/she is easy to find as they do hold up the sign. We're always met with a friendly smile.

I like that they contact you the day before you're going to be picked up at your resort to reconfirm everything.

What matters most to me is how they drive. I've probably had five members of their staff provide transportation. They all are very careful drivers. (Wish I could say the same about DH. ;) )

Hi there
i would also recomend Golden Limos. Jimmy is excellnt and his prices are very good too. you cannot beat good service and Jimmy will give you this.
I have had very bad experience with a limo company b4 ...so trust me when i say Jimmy is very good.
take care and good luck

We used Tiffany the last 3 times we traveled to WDW. We found the service to be fine. We tipped each way, paid nothing extra. It was a little more expensive to go to a MK resort but we knew that going in. We were in a fender-bender on our last trip. It was just my 10 y/o dd and myself. An older woman rear-ended our towncar at a toll booth. Guess our driver didn't move away fast enough for her!!! Anyway, our driver was extremely concerned as to our well being. Only a little jog from behind. No damage. We would be using them again in August but want to give Fl Tours a shot since they are a board sponser. But I wouldn't hesitate to use TT again.

We are HUGE fans of Cartier. Yes, sometimes you call and get an answering machine BUT Sara gets Kalim on the phone (or whoever is driving) and they get right back to you. We have used them many, many times and would use no one else. For us its Cartier all the way!!!!
