Limo rental is this a good price?

So I just wanted a limo to pick us up from CSR and bring us to dinner at GF and then later back to CSRm I emailed 3 different places, Happy Limo, Tiffany and someone else and they are between $180 and $189 one of them including gratuity.

I have never rented a limo, this is for our anniversary but it seems a bit pricey for such a short ride..

Any suggestions?

I think I would take the $180 and put it toward spending one night in a deluxe hotel rather than a 20 minute limo ride.

Airport runs are generally charged "point to point". Limos normally charge an hourly rate. $180 for 3 hours sounds about right. The limo driver won't be available to take another customer while you're dining. $50-$60 /hour with a 3 hour minimum is probably the going rate.

You could just take a taxi.
Mears has towncar taxis at the S/D. Not as impressive as a limo but likely to be less expensive. I don't know how (or if) you can get one of the towncar taxis from from the S/D to your resort.

Alternately call the concierge at the GF. They may have arrangements with a company that will bill point to point or know how you can get a towncar taxi.

PP has a point. You're willing to pay over $200 with tip? How much more would it cost to get a room at the GF or POLY for the night?

That's the price range we've paid for the past few years for our rides to/from Sanford to the resort. We rent a limo for the luggage space and also the experience, but I don't think I'd pay that for such a short trip with no luggage involved
