Hi

Only 3 weeks to go until our first ever trip and suddenely I have lots of questions which I only seem to remember after I have posted another question so apologies for monopolising this forum over the next few weeks!

I am soo soo confused about getting from LAX to Hojos. I dont really want to have to use a shuttle service as we will have been travelling for about 18 hours at this point and will just want to get there

I have looked into a limo ( a stretch one !) but lowest price was $180 and I dont even know if the company is any good.

Anyone have any suggestions of a good limo company- I was going for the stretch partly for the fun of it but also as we are overseas for 6 weeks with 2 young kids and have lots of luggage, car seats, strollers etc which I dont think would fit in a normal car.

thanks in advance for any help

Ginny

We just rented a stretch limo from LAX to the PORT of LA for March 20111. They go to HOJOS as well, as I am thinking of using them after the cruise as well, as we are also staying at HOJOS.

Can't comment on service because this is our first time in CA, and first time using them.

We booked with GOSEDAN, a company owned by Primetime Shuttle. We are paying $135 for 9 of us.

Here is the website:

Hope that helps!

I would also appreciate feedback if someone cares to comment on this company. Thanks!

I use a nice elderly gentleman named Harold for Harold's Limo Service. It has cost me $169 including gratuity for both trips I've done. One from Long Beach Airport to HOJO and one this coming trip from Long Beach Airport to Park Vue Inn. It's a really nice service, I enjoyed it :)

Super Shuttle has a business class service called Excucar. I booked them for my Oct trip to the mouse. It was $72 each way for a Honda Odyssey, but if you have AAA they knock $5USD off the price each way if you show them your AAA card. There is a %18 gratuity that is mandatory, but in my mind it's worth the money if it means not be driven all over the place to get to your hotel, and being stuck in either a shuttle van or bus with strangers for a long period of time. Hope that this helps.

thanks everyone- wil check those companies out

got another quote today of $90 plus tip with socallimo.com

Seems a good price- has anyone used them ?

Go to limos.com, enter your info, and you'll get quotes from several limo companies.

I got a quote for a stretch (newer 10 passenger) for $75 from GCH to John Wayne Airport (SNA) for $75 with American Limousine. I've heard good things about them and they had the cheapest price so I book with them. It includes everything but the tip.

I did price trips from the GCH to LAX and it seemed like it was closer to $125 for the same car but I can't remember for sure.
