Is the Double too bucks in stores or just online? I have never shopped at Limited too. We have always gone to gymboree but my daughter thinks the clothes are too "babyish" for her Now....so sad...I love Gymboree. So I thought that we would give Limited too a try for back to school clothes

I don't remember what the email said (in store or online) but it's usually in store, too. I am also a fellow Gymboholic whose daughter outgrew Gymbo. We have moved on to LTD2 and have found that their sales when combined with their coupons (which are plentiful if you get on their mailing list) allow it to be reasonably affordable. Just be forewarned that their clothing quality is not good at all. It doesn't hold up well in the wash but it IS cute. Gymboree used to be fantastic quality but I noticed it, too, has diminished w/in the last 5 years or so.

Oh wow, we've been buying Limited Too for a few years now, both new and resale and the quality has never been an issue. It's well worth the money. The clothes hold up well and have a very good resale value.

I remember when my DD switched to LT2. We made it up to a size 9 in Gymboree before she said "no more!" Each year Gymboree went up another size (they used to only go up to a size 7) so DD got to stay in the clothes longer than I had originally thought. After a couple of years and lots of growing, she was totally off of LT2 and on to Hollister, Aeropostal and American Eagle. The clothes keep getting more and more expensive! I did really good with reselling DD's & DS's Gymboree (I still have gobs of the bigger outfits to sell though), but couldn't move the LT2 as well. It costs more than Gymboree and we ended up with holes in lots of the shirts after a short time (and hang drying them). The last thing I remember selling was a $48.00 shortie jean jacket that I got $4.00 for!

Get on their mailing list and sign up for the birthday card. Your DD will get the magazines with 25% off cards in them (as they expire, new ones arrive). She'll also get 25% off during her birthday month. LT2 doesn't allow you to stack coupons though, so it's one or the other.

Never pay full price at Limited too. The double too bucks deal is online and in stores. Check out the clearance racks in the back of the store. Ask the clerks which local Limited too gets the extra clearance stuff (our closest store doesn't but one about 20 minutes away does!)

Bring your dd's report card in and she'll get $5 off her purchase. My kids usually get lip gloss or other junk with their report card money.

We got 2 swim suits and a dress for $34 on Saturday. Original prices : 122.50.

You can always try "Jessica called" for an extra 20-25% off your purchase. Jessica calls a lot. I think that has worked for me everytime but once.

Also use discount code 243 and press recalculate for an additional 20% off entire merchandise total...helps with the ridiculous shipping rate. Just placed an order after recieiving e-mail from them and found additional code by searching and worked just fine for me.

I buy tons from limited too I have never had a problem with quality BUT I bought my daughter a shirt last year for 36.00 I paid full price and a few months later I was in Kmart and they had basically the same shirt for 8.00 I was very upset. They are great with sending coupons and sales.

I was just there this Saturday and didn't have my too bucks card. I said Jessica had called and left a message and they gave me the 25% off. This weekend they had 50% off the clearance price and then I got the 25% off so I got some good deals. 2 pairs of pajamas and 3 shirts for 33.00.

I think they are starting back up soon. we were just in there this evening and she explaining it to me. sounds like gymbucks. so that is cool. she also mentioned another program but I didnt understand it as well.. we ended up with 2 outfits and 2 bracelets for $42.00 . that isnt too bad..

Thanks for the heads up on the Too Bucks deal going on right now! I placed an order for 2 of my DD's school clothes as they think they are outgrowing Gymbo too (sniff sniff).
What is the $15 card things for? Is it $15 off of $30?
With the mailer I got yesterday for my DD's birthday this month we got 15 things shipped for under $300. Not as good as it could have been, but too many full price things caught my eye. thanks!!!!

I have been shopping LTD2 for years for my DD11. The clothes are not great quality and you will find small holes in most shirts even though they are not put through the dryer. I have stopped spending full price for clothing from them because the quality is not worth it. This is a great time to start shopping for back 2 school. Our local LTD2 store was running 60% off clearance plus my 25% off.

just got double toobucks and double bonus cards today :thumbsup2 spent $50 and was very happy esp. since dd will be needing school clothing very soon. Guess the double bucks start 8/16 and the bonus cards 9/8!!
