Limited AAA Discounts?

I tried to book the RPH using a AAA discount code (online) and it said it wasn't available. So I tried to book the HRH with a AAA discount and it said it wasn't available. When I didn't put in a code and paid full price, it was available. Do they only offer so many AAA discounts or should I call and try it over the phone?

There are only os many rooms they offer at each discount (AAA, APH etc). The dates I wanted (6/24 thru 6/29) were gone at HRH also, but I ended getting a stay 4 play free rate that with the kids free tix thrown in ended up costing the same as AAA would have been and buying the adult get a kids free ticket. Check out the offers that have free tickets, and it might work out the same, or close to the AAA rate with the tix separately.

You didnt mention your dates. If your dates are too far out, AAA will not be loaded into the online system yet. You could call and keep checking online as well.

When I originally booked for this year, it showed no AAA rooms on my dates at the universal site, so I went to the AAA website and they were available there.

i know that the aaa rates were out dec/jan as i booked mine early this time around.

yes, a certain percentage of rooms are allocated for aaa and other discounts. when they are gone, they are gone.

Sometimes it has to do with the number of nights you are staying. we are only going for 2 nights this summer, and the only AAA rates showing for RPR are for King suites. If I put in 4 nights, all the rooms are available at the AAA rate. I was able to get a room at PBH with the AAA rate for a little less than the rack rate at RPR.

I talked to my AAA agent and she quoted me the same price as I could get online (the package with kids eat/play free). I called the HRH and got a better deal than my agent got ($458 for a kid's suite instead of $509). It was not included in any package, but then I got tickets online. I bought 2 adult tickets at $99 a piece and got 2 kids tickets free, plus an extra 3 days. So, $200 for 5 days for al 4 of us! No way Disney (which I love with all my heart) will ever beat that! It is definately worth a call!
