Okay, I know on the DDP you get an entree, drink, and dessert.

However, are there items on the menu you cannot order?

For example, If we go to Le Cellier am I excluded from the fillet?

For the most part you can order anything on any menu.

There are a few exceptions (no sushi as an appetizer at Teppan Edo if you're on the deluxe for example) but most of those pertain to appetizers or desserts, not entrees.

Marrakesh will ask for an upcharge if you want to order any of their multi-course dinners.
Desserts (or appetizers if you're on the deluxe) marked "for two" must be ordered by two persons.
Tangierine Cafe restricts dessert to baklava only.
Sushi can't be an appetizer at Wolfgang Puck Cafe but you can order it as an entree.
The two most expensive sushi dishes at California Grill can be ordered as entrees but not as appetizers.
The Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream can't be ordered on the dining plan.
That's pretty much it for the restrictions at this time.

no exclusions on dining plan. We've had the filet at Le Cellier several time on the dining plan. For the dining plan you get the same menu & order your choice of entree, dessert & non-alcohol beverage (some places including Le Cellier you have some milkshake or smoothie options. My daughter & her friend got virgin pina coladas at Le Cellier in May; DH, DS & I got milkshakes at The Wave in September.)

Now some restaurants, including Le Cellier, do have special options called "chef's choice" or something similar that allow you to get an appetizer, an entree, a dessert & a beverage on the regular dining plan. The catch is you have to order off the special menu with NO substitutions. The filet is not on the special 3 course option at Le Cellier...you had your choice of 3 cheaper entrees. Les Chefs de France and Captain's Grille are a couple of other restaurants that I know offer the 3 course option but the same deal applies, no substitutions and the more expensive entrees are not on the special menu.

i had deluxe, salads and appt.s were our app choices, all entrees were offered from what i remember, and then all desserts.

i ordered an appt. for two and was told because we had deluxe it would count as one not two and they had us order another. also i got sorbet samplers a few times and i dont know if they were listed for two or not but three scoops of sorbet seems like a lot for one person.

Are there any food items on the menus exlcuded from the DDP at any of the participating restaurants for 2012?

Such as le cellier, San Angel Inn, and etc.

There are no current known exclusions with the exception of some of the 2009 "exclusions" listed above, which are still the same. I think the only thing now different is that Wolfgang Puck Cafe will now allow sushi as an appetizer on deluxe but I can't remember where I read that.

As noted above, if you order the three course Chef's Selection at certain restaurants on DDP you can't make any substitutions.
