The sand on Florida's beaches tends to be very fine and powdery, - meaning that it can swirl around a lot. This can sometimes be uncomfortable, - especially if you're only lying on a free Virgin TravelStore towel.
We are therefore considering taking a pair of blow-up lilos in a bag with us, ...however, we cannot recall seeing anyone using them on any of the beaches during our past visits.
Are lilos allowed?
Steve.

:D Oh yes - we get some every year:D

It might be worthwhile considering getting them at the local Walmarts or Publix - we've used both and they've blown them up free of charge for us too - saves all the puff;)

They are so much cheaper over there - we leave them behind because we can never get them flat again:rolleyes: and it wastes "shopping" space in the suitcases:cool:

Thank you Annie!
...can't think why we've never spotted them before.
We are staying near a Walmart, so we will get them from there before we embark for a beach.
Steve.

Cath, that was one of the reasons I had difficulty finding out anything about my type of lilo.
Putting the word 'Lilo' into a search engine got me plenty of stuff about the Disney cartoon but next to nothing about inflatable mattresses :)
