Anyone been to this character breakfast that could fill me in on what they thought about it?

What characters (besides Lilo and Stitch) were there?

How was the food?

How was the character interaction?

What are the hours?

(We're trying to decide which character breakfast to do. We've done Goofy's before, which was great. We haven't done Storytellers with Chip & Dale, but we're considering it too.)

Thanks everyone!:)

We've been a couple of times since we typically stay at the PP. But there's Lilo and Stitch, Minnie, Pluto, Daisy was there once, and everyone is in beach attire. Cute surf shirts, etc. Their food is probably typical to the other character breakfasts (made to order omelets, mickey waffles, eggs, bacon, etc.). I wish I remembered the pineapple scones....I would've scarfed on those :rotfl2: When we went also, the characters did this cute conga line and all the kids got to dance with them!! :goodvibes

We did this one, and it was cute, but didn't get a lot of char interaction even though we were there bright and early and stayed for a bit. The food was ok, I personally like Breakfast with Minnie, or storytellers, and if you don't mind loud Goofy's kitchen has a HUGE buffet for breakfast/brunch. Not gonna do Lilo this time would rather redo the others. JMO

This was the best character experience we've had. We were at the later seating, 9:30 or 10? Daisy, Minnie, Lilo, Stitch and Pluto were there and my kids got to see them multiple times. At the end of our meal as we were leaving, my kids started to play the drums they have in the restaurant and Pluto came over to play with them. Then the other characters came out as well. My kids and one other family had a private audience with them!!!!! It was so wonderful...the food was great, too. I'm going back.

Characters: Minnie, Pluto, and I think one other I can't remember. And of course Lilo & Stitch.

Food: Good. Typical breakfast fare (bacon, eggs, fruit, cereal), special themed fare (definitely try the pineapple scones and pineapple jam!) and what I assumed to be typical Japanese breakfast foods (I don't really remember, I think there was salmon and rice and a few other dishes).

Character interaction: Great! Each character came around to our table multiple times, and sometimes stayed for quite awhile. Stitched goofed around with both boys and made them laugh. Minnie was quite taken with my DS2, hugging him repeatedly as if she couldn't bear to let him go! (Good thing Mickey wasn't around!) I thought at first we were getting extra attention because of our two young boys, but noticed they also gave equal attention to adults-only tables and families with older children, which I thought was really cool!

Hours: I don't remember, but we had our PS for opening. I believe it was 8 AM, plenty of time to make park opening (off-season) at 10.

I hope Pluto is still there in November, he is DD's favorite! Pineapple scones sound yummy too! I was thinking this was going to be the character breakfast we did this time, since we are staying at PP and I've previously done Goofy's Kitchen, Storyteller's Cafe, and Plaza Inn so I wanted to try something different, now this decides it, PCH Grill it is! :thumbsup2

This is the only character meal we have ever been to, and it was great. We were the only family there- there were only a couple other tables w/ people at them. Therefore, we got lots of attention from the characters. We did not make PS arrangements, just walked in. I couldn't believe how few people there were.

The food was amazing. My husband even enjoyed it, and he is picky. Of course the kids didn't eat much, but the experience was nice. They had breakfast items w/ a Polynesian theme. For example, they had some sort of teriyaki salmon and rice, I believe. That was delicious.

Hmmm, it sounds pretty good. Decisions, decisions...:scratchin

We're staying at the PPH again this year, so it makes sense to try Lilo and Stitch.

But then again, we could go back to Goofy's, or even give Storytellers a try. I'm leaning towards trying someplace new, so Goofy's is out.

That leaves Lilo and Stitch or Storytellers.

We do Lilo & Stitch every time we go....the pineapple scones are my main reason why we make sure to go to this one (we always do Goofy's too). character interaction has always been great here for us. Stitch oftens spends time playing with DD who was only 15mos, 21 mos and 30 each time we've gone. Varied from hugs and kisses when young and playing with her food or what not as she got older. This year we are going again but instead of the scones from the buffet we'll be ordering off the menu to keep the prices down which will allow us to also squeeze in storytellers (we plan on ordering from the menu there too so Goofy's would be our only buffet character meal and a big $ breakfast). I highly suggest Lilo & Stitch. One other reason we like it, they have rice on the buffet line, living in HI rice is a staple at every meal we tend to miss it while on vacation, cant get my DD to eat potatoes...

Ok first the scones are wonderful!!!! I really like this breakfast , I think the character interaction is great. It is a little more low key then Goofy's , but still lots for the kids to do. It feels a bit more relaxed , not quite as cramped.

I went to the Lilo and Stitch breakfast this past June and really enjoyed it. I arrived at 8:30 am and saw Pluto near the buffet, and also saw Lilo when I was walking to my table. The location that I was seated in wasn't the best. It wasn't in the middle of the restaurant, it was kind of off to the side, in a narrow little area but I didn't mind. At the end of my meal Minnie and Daisy came over. Stitch was leading a conga line around the restaurant while I was eating. I ordered Mickey Mouse pancakes which were very good, and my mom ordered a Mickey Mouse waffle which she enjoyed. As with all character meals, we received a button and I noticed kids at other tables were given leis. Over all, it's a very cute character breakfast to go to.

When we went 2 years ago we did it maybe 2 or 3 times it's a cute place to eat. Storyteller's is cute too but didn't have as much character interaction like lilo and stich

For brunch we have been to Storytellers twice and Lilo & Stitch once. I think the overall experience at L&S was better. Storytellers is more subdued, and adult orientated. Both are good, but the characters seem to really make a point of visiting for a long time at L&S. Minnie took quite a liking to my DH;) .

One other reason we like it, they have rice on the buffet line, living in HI rice is a staple at every meal we tend to miss it while on vacation, cant get my DD to eat potatoes...

My husband isn't from Hawaii (nor is he Hawaiian), but he is Korean, and was VERY excited to hear that there is rice at breakfast. :)

I really liked Lilo & stich. It was a super fun atmosphere and the food was good. I like the food a little more at storyteller's but the characters were just alright. I havent been to goofy's in a gazillion years

Let me say that we love this Bfast. We are staying at PP this xmas and are excited to go to this bfast! It is one of the best we had! Awesome food!!!!!! Great Char interaction! This is the only character meal we do in disney! It is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We did the Lilo & Stitch character breakfast last Friday. I enjoyed it, but I don't think it was my family's favourite character meal. The food was very good - I really enjoyed the banana french toast and pineapple scones. I don't think these are available at the other breakfasts.

Lilo, Stitch, Max and Daisy Duck would visit tables. Minnie Mouse was there, but only for photos. We did have to ask to have Lilo and Stitch visit our table. Sometimes I find character breakfasts to be hit and miss for the character interaction depending on the location of your table and how busy it may be.

I think Storytellers has the best quality of food and Goofy's has the largest variety of food.

I am glad that we tried Lilo & Stitch (I did enjoy it), but next time I would probably go to Goofys or Storytellers.

I did read that the prices for the character meals are increasing.

We went to Storyteller's for a Sun. breakfast last Ocotober and had a great time. We ordered off the menu-- the pancakes and french toast were huge and filling. Saved us from having to buy a lunch that day-- we weren't ready to eat again until 2:30 or so. ;-)

Character interaction was wonderful, too-- definitely a highlight of the trip. We saw Chip & Dale first, then the Meeko raccoon from Poca. and 2 Brother Bears (Koda and Kenai?). Very cuddly, vey entertaining. The park-ranger CM kept coming by, too-- good sense of humor and had buttons to hand out as well.

Pretty quiet/ restful place, too-- course, we were there for a 7:15 sitting. ;-) We want to check out Goofy' s next time but is it really as loud/ chaotic as everyone says (or is it worth it for the more familiar characters)? pirate:

Lilo & Stitch's is our all time favorite character meal for breakfast. We definitely do it at least once per trip. The character interactions are awesome, probably because it's not a big restaurant and the characters get to devote more time to each table. We love the fact that you can order the buffet or order off the menu. There's activities for the kids and everyone gets a button pin and a plastic lei.
