liki tiki resort or where

Does anyone have an opinion on the Liki Tiki resort. We stayed there several years ago and although the kids really enjoyed the pool area, I would like to stay somewhere different. Any thoughts?

We stayed their thru II last May. We made sure we stayed in the new buildings. We waited until 5:30 for them to clean a newer room for us. Now it was O.K. The kids loved the slides and pool. The rooms where nice and roomy however they drag tail about fixing any complaints we had. We called for towels and they took forever, we called because someone locked the channels on the big screen t.v. and we could only get a couple of channels that took 2 days to fix. We called about the dryer that took 1/2 a day. Other than that it was just fair. I however would not stay there unless i was in the newier part the older part looked just way to rundown. Also the exercise room only had one treadmill working. I know alot of people do not get up to exercise but apparently at liki tiki they do and it was always a line for them.

Once again if the price is right and we were assured we would be in a new unit yes but other than that no.

Stayed there two years ago and it was horrible. You can do a search and get conflicting opinons but as MaMa says unless the price is right do not even bother. I stayed there and it was beyond horrible in the old buildings. Urine stained pull out bed, holes in wall etc. I would NEVER go there again even for the right price. If you could stay in the newer area well that might be acceptable. There are tons of great places to stay in Orlando and if I were to make a list of 100, Liki Tiki would be 101
HOw about using Skyauction and getting some of the nicer places like Vistana for a good deal?
