Likelihood of it being busy the week before Dec half term?

I know I posted this a few months back but i'm hoping people who went during the week before Dec Half term would be able to shed some light on this

We're going Sunday 15th-19th and the kids break up on the friday in most countries (20th) I know the closer to this day the busier it will get, but i'm hoping because it's the week before people will hold off for half term?

I've been around this time before and the parks were quiet, but we did get a lot of snow fall that week too which made getting there and getting back problematic and one day all the rides in the park were closed as well.
