VMK is a good idea well they kept working till it was done right and now they quit, don't they know that quitters NEVER prosper or win. I feel a "stronger fight in me now.

I love these. The last one particularly is good for telling them why we don't want to play Toontown or Club Penquin.

Oh. And a few more to give us inspriation:

"Somehow I can't believe there are any heights that can't be scaled by a man who knows the secret of making dreams come true. This special secret, it seems to me, can be summarized in four C's. They are Curiosity, Confidence, Courage, and Constancy and the greatest of these is Confidence. When you believe a thing, believe it all the way, implicitly and unquestionably."

"I have been up against tough competition all my life. I wouldn't know how to get along without it."

"If you can dream it, you can do it."

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible."

How Walt "moved forward":
"I've always said that there will never be another Disneyland, and I think it's going to work out that way. But it will be the equivalent of Disneyland. We know the basic things that have family appeal. There are many ways that you can use those certain basic things and give them a new decor, a new treatment. This concept here will have to be something that is unique, so there is a distinction between Disneyland in California and whatever Disney does in Florida."

In other words, instead of tearing down Disneyland, He built a different park.

"Disneyland is a work of love. We didn't go into Disneyland just with the idea of making money."

--Walt Disney

"Disneyland is not just another amusement park. It's unique, and I want it kept that way. Besides, you don't work for a dollar - you work to create and have fun." —Walt Disney

All the quotes are exactly why their reasoning has no logic whatsoever. They apply to the Disney brand, the parks, and classics...LIKE VMK!! At least until it closes :( My point is that the word innovation doesn't include the process of stopping anywhere in it's definition. Change, adapt, to make better... all of which VMK has continued to do for three years.

Disney can decide to change the parks as much as it wants and people will always come back for one reason (two if you count being a flat out Disney-holic) THEY CAN GET INTO THE GATES. People will always travel to WDW and Disneyland because they can. If innovation suddenly closed the gates of WDW, where would that leave them.

I'm all for it Yavn or whoever is making this decision. Innovate! Tinker away. You think something is wrong, it's not making you enough mooolah, change something. But you can never innovate something to it's full potential by putting an end to it!

I personally prefer to stick to my arsenal of Mark Twain quotes:

"No real estate is permanently valuable but the grave."
