Ok....

Well.......

I will SELL my list of restaurants...

If anyone wants to bite. We can start the bidding at $1.00.

Any takers?

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao::lmao:

so we're supposed to guessing restaurants, right? if so, then i'm just naming the first one that pops into my head and PMing you in it. I HAVE NO CLUE THOUGH!!!

I have no idea! I've thought realy hard about it but dh told me to stop thinking so much because smoke was coming out my ears.

Liesa, That's hilarious, and I just got it! :lmao:

My guess is JIKO!!

Yes, that really was the clue. This one won't discriminate AT ALL. Anyone who has a list of the restaurants will be able to see the clue here, given enough think time.

It's really there! I promise :) For those who've guessed, I'll give you another chance, if you think you want it. So far only one of you have gotten it right.

I read it earlier today and what popped into my mind was 50's Prime Time.

But wanted to soak on it a little while longer. I think I'll go with it.

I think we posted at the same time. Check your PM box and read what I posted just before you... ;)

OK, I've got your answer entered into the super secret classified documents file. ;)

Fresh off the motorhome floor, after another cramped experience of sleeping in places people shouldn’t have to, we were ready for a brand new experience called “EPCOT”!! To say we were excited was a gross understatement. I mean who is alive in the US that hasn’t at least seen a picture of the Great Big White Ball?? Little did I know that today would be the day I would develop and undying, head-over-heels love affair with a certain place on earth!!

This time, I’m pretty sure we all piled into Mom and Dad’s car instead of taking the busses. I know this because this was the one and only day they decided to come to the park with us and actually stick it out for more than a couple hours. After parking, in a place we’d inevitably forget when time to take our leave, we made our way into this altogether new and exciting vast utopia of fun stuff to explore. Soarin’ wasn’t there yet, but one of my all-time favorites was: The Land. It will forever hold a special place in my ever-Disney attraction loving heart, much as Columbia Harbor House does for CS restaurants. It was an instant infatuation!! Not only were the gardens and sustainable animal exhibits completely amazing, but back then, there was a real live narrator who would actually answer questions and interact with the guests. I adored the hidden Mickey pumpkins hanging from the trellises, was fascinated by the hydroponics display, and who knew that ginger and vanilla grew like that??! I am sad that they’ve replaced the tour guides with a recorded message. I still love it, but it will never be the same.

After our expedition through the Garden of Eden, we set out to really nowhere in particular. Whereas AK didn’t appeal to us to just wander around seeing what we would, EPCOT, for some inexplicable reason was a fun park to just wander around in taking in all the unexpected charms. We ran into the Jammitors and were duly wowed by the loud. I don’t particularly LOVE that group, but it seems we can never really quite avoid them either. So by default they’ve become an enduring tradition for every visit.

Making tracks once more, we totally by accident came across another place destined to one of our most long-lasting memory makers: Ice Station Cool. That’s what it was called back then, and in my humble opinion it was by far a better attraction in yesteryear. As you entered you went through a super cool snow and ice tunnel. I’ll never forget for as long as I live how a huge chunk of snow fell kerplop right onto DS’s (21 months at the time) lap!! It was one of those moments you wished you had a camera ready to capture the look of surprise on his face. It was one of utter shock. But we all laughed ourselves into a frenzy, and he was a good sport. I think he loved it mostly because I let him eat his snow. I’m sure we tried all the different flavors there were, but honestly, if there was Beverly, I don’t remember nor do I really care. We had a blast in there. Exiting over the floor that was sticky enough to pass for airport security tape put down to catch Hoof and Mouth, we trudged on.

Nothing else stands out in my memory except we were chilly and getting hungry. We needed an indoor attraction so we went on Spaceship Earth. All I remember from that was during the ride going backwards at the end, going through all the twinkly lights, thinking to myself how “old school” Disney that was. Who remembers “Adventure Through Inner Space” at Disneyland. For some reason all my memories of my favorite DLR attraction came flooding back as we descended back down to reality.

Not much else was accomplished in Future World. I’d say most first trips are meant for giving one an overall idea of the flavor of the place- and that it most certainly did. We had a lot of fun and made some terrific memories. I knew without a doubt that this was a place I would certainly want and need to come back to over and over again.

Next up: Back in the days when ADRs weren’t necessary, and a ride on the high Northern Seas.

:rotfl: I haven't really haven't been playing, but I got it!!!! Hope everyone else will get it besides Shannon. Your so smart girlie!

Hey Mama. I see your on tonight. Have you heard from hubby, hope all is well there? You and the kids hanging in? I'm sure Bekka would like for things to be better, hopefully she's well on the mend by now.

I'll be in and out all day- between spelling tests and math lessons. :teacher:

Bek is feeling a ton better. I think the cough will linger for some days, maybe even weeks?? I'm feeling a lot better. I was a good girl and went to bed at 12:00 last night, and got a good 9 hours of beauty rest. :rotfl2:

We skyped with DH last night, and it was good to see the whole family rallied around Dad. He really appreciates all the support I know. The jet lag has been good he says, so maybe physical weariness won't stand in the way of being able to help the family.

I need to give this RD clue a little while longer as I know a few "regulars" are not online this weekend. I'm soooo anxious to be done, so I can start posting other stuff. Once everyone knows all the places we'll be eating I can be specific with our plans. :woohoo::banana:

But I also want to start with a "fresh slate" for the upcoming stuff, so I may start a new thread as the mods will close this one down once it hits 250 pages.

Ready for a little participation?? Want to feel powerful and involved??

Then I have a job for you!! I am stumped! Really I am. I've sat here for a long time today, racking my brain trying to come up with a clever, meaningful title to the next part of this pre-trippie!! Never in my wildest dreams did I think that it would come to this, but here we are- just 20 short pages to go before we'll have to start afresh. We'll finish this one out to the full 250 pages, but I want to prepare now for the next round of fun.

Here are some ideas that I came up with, but I know how clever and creative all of you are.

The TC3 Quest for Freedom Continues

The Battle for the Perfect Trip Continues

A 3 Woman Army Fights for the Perfect Trip

Stranger Things Have Happened

None of them just really pop out at me. I like them, but they just don't have that certain flair or panache I was hoping for. Bring on your think for me, and help me come up with something that embodies our trip.

So...........????

I'm not sure on the next title, but I just have to say, I love the quote, when ADRs weren't necessary. I remember those days. Fondly. :lmao:
