Wow!!! What a fun group you all are.. now I KNOW the Wilderness Lodge is the right choice for my next trip... cause if great folks like you LOVE it there.. I know I will too!!!! I was planning on going solo.. but now mom is coming along for the fun!!! I can't wait to experience the magic you all seem to have been touched by... I can't believe in all my years of Disneying.. I have yet to stay at the Wilderness Lodge.... Well.. Here I go.. and I can't wait!!!

Looking forward to joining the family!

Count me In!! ~Just dropping in to say Hello...and visit for a spell. Wow...the animation by MAGICinMYHEART is incredible! I've been to the SAN DIEGO ZOO...and last week, on MLK's holiday, a primate dubbed "Houdini" escaped from the L.A. Zoo for the 8th time!! LOL...she is REALLY good at getting out when she wants to. They had to evacuate the park, one person at a time. When they finally located her, she had to be tranquilized and returned to a "lock-down" caged area. Now, they'll spend the week "fixing" the area she managed to escape from, to prevent it in the future. Just one more CHALLENGE for this little girl. She proves to all...she's truly one step ahead!! (LOL). *Speaking of the MAGIC of the BEAR...I miss WL. We always enjoyed our time there, the delish planked Salmon @ Artist point, the fun in the Whispering Canyon Cafe (& Roaring Fork, Territory lounge and Trout pass are also fabulous), the waterfall & pool area, the quiet country-feel of the pines and wildflowers, nature and animals, the lobby, rooms and even the gift shop. We love the entire place!! Enjoy your time while visiting the MAGIC of the WL & WDW. Nice to see y'all (Wave to the room!!)....

FC Are you SURE you pointed that wand north? Cuz I'm here to tell you that we are expecting a wave of winter storms starting tonight, and not ending until Wednesday night! Could there be a "delay" on the wand perhaps?

Campinggal, MagicinmyHeart and Dreamflight Thanks for the info on the SD zoo, and the other zoos too. I'm addicted to the Panda Cam on the SD Zoo site, and my DS is hooked on the Polar Bear Cam! So now, my husband (who lived in CA for a while) is THRILLED that I finally want to go west for some reason! And being the animal lover that I am...... Yep, I want to go to that zoo!

I just noticed my counter is a day fast, oops! We arrive on Tuesday the 3rd. I can't wait. Its still very cold here in CT, and a chance of snow each of the next two days.

If your in the Lodge from 2/3 thru 2/6 and you see a guy with a very active 3+ year old, and they are both wearing KC Chiefs jerseys (#88, and very red), stop and say hi. Whose knows what day we'll be matching, I gotta leave some challenge.

FC- your magic weather wand is working!!!!

We were suppost to get a big storm today, but it's held south (sorry to my NJ friends). Not a flake!!

Keep it pointed North, please, as we're suppost to get another storm tomorrow. They are predicting a FOOT of snow....

We got a nice little dusting this AM. Nothing more than an inch or two. The concern is for what is planned for tomorrow. As of right now they are calling for 5 to 10 inches.
