i had this really great idea to call the Lodge and leave a message for Fred from "the vets" and tell them we had tracked his flight and were cheering as he landed...then I remembered I don't know Fred's last name..I have his cell # but I don't really want to interrupt him...just wanted him to get a note when he checked in..
oh well...the best laid plans

Well, While I have been taking care of a very sick DS you guys have been having a regular ol' celebreation party in honor of Fred and Family!! YAY!!!

I hope they are having fun already!!

I might be just a little later than I had hoped in getting all the contact info together due to DS being sick. So bare with me...it is coming. Any other vets want to get in on it...there's still time. Send me a PM!!

Ladies and Gentleman, Majestic has entered THE building!!

You guys CRACK ME UP! I laughed for 30 minutes straight! Must have been cool tracking us. We landed 10 minutes early and left 5 minutes late. Go figure. Either way, the trip was nice with no problems. Tiffany was there waiting for us. Our driver Gill was fantastic. I didn't have to do anything at all. Definately something we will do for all future trips as of now.

It was really cool to get a IM from you Betsy. Loved it. Was funny to see that you posted my reply. This world we live in is so cool. You can see the progress of my whole flight from start to finish and we can communicate via cell phones from anywhere.

Anyway, just had the ceremonial Pulled Pork sandwich from WC and am going to lay down for a small nap.

Oh, we got the LAST concierge room on the 7th floor. This time we are in the South tower. 7117 (Good pick 4 number!) Good view of the lake and part of the main pool. Excellent view of the "crows nest" where they do Flag Family. Will try to take a few pictures later and send em over for an instant fix for yas.

Thinking of all of you while we are here. More later.

What was the upgrade fee?(If you don't mind telling?)

Ok we paid $50 a night for the upgrade but I think we got the last room available! I could care less. We wanted it. We got it. The people next to us at checkin were turned down for concierge because there were no rooms so they had to just do concierge access from the 5th floor. Just made it!!

Floridafam, spoke to the general manager and arranged for a tour of the Yellowstone Suite. Glad I did today because it will be occupied all week from tommorow on. I took about 15 pics of it for you. Quick review is that it is LARGE. LOTS of room. A bit larger than the Yosemite but not THAT much larger. 3 seperate small balconies but not a deal killer if you ask me. You will see what I mean when I have some time to send the pics up.

Going to Chef Mickey's for Dinner tonight. (Trying it because of YOU Beth!) We have only done it for breakfast before.

Those are grea pics. You must be fairly close to the Yellowstone Suite. Glad you got the upgrade.

I wonder if they ever upgrade anyone who is staying in a deluxe room? Do you know?

I can't wait to see your pics of the Yellowstone Suite! It sounds nice. Thanks for checking out the balconies. That seems to be the main concern between the 2 suites.

Glad you got your room. I'm also glad I paid for concierge in advance if they are all booked up. We swithered about waiting to check-in but that would obviously have been a mistake.

I'm just waiting on the taxi to the airport in the next 20 mins! WL here I come later today (15th).
