Thanks for the quick responses! We are kind of an indecisive family when it comes to what to eat, so to decide without even really knowing the options is daunting, to say the least! I'll try to nail down a few places, and play it by ear for the rest. Thanks again!

We do the same (the whole 'by ear' thing). We usually have maybe one PS per day at a sit down or character meal (usually only one CM per trip) and then we leave the rest to 'chance'.

If we are strolling by someplace and we are hungry...we put it to a vote. Last trip we did this for lunch at Epcot and ended up at Akerhouse in Norway. LOVED IT ::yes:: . It ended up being one of our favorited meals for the entire trip!

Same thing for our first trip to LTT...and now we go there every time!

I will chime in and say that I do make a PS for each day but if it doesn't work out that we get to it, I don't get upset.. I have been having a GREAT time on Thunder Mountain and not ready to go back to the hotel...so we grab something at the park..easy..but I do sorta schedule my day by where my PS is..I did mine about 90 days ago, so I have plenty of time to plan my days.

Other than that...and my AWESOME timer.. I found these checks that are "WLgy"... I might have to get these instead of my normal Disney princesses!

WL Check Design

Ve-r-r-r-y cute checks, but I gotta stick with my Disney ones ('specially since my 2-box order just arrived in the mail yesterday!)

[Yukkkk!! Back to school tomorrow..... ]

DisneyDmbNut,

I also loved the checks, I just received two new boxes from bank...saving every penny so I can go to Disney for long week-end to see the Braves Spring Training Game.

Staying at Pop Century but will visit WL and check out The Memory Box.

Will be staying at Lodge towards the end of May in The Villas.

I haven't said anything here on THE DIS BOARDS because I wasn't sure if it would work out...Went to our local Library to check on doing some Volunteer work, was told that they needed a part-time librarian so after three years of retirement I now am back in the work force;) I Love it.

Received my first pay-check Friday (not much:p ) But if I keeping putting them in a Disney account I'll be buying more DVC points soon.

Hi Wilderness Lodgers! I'm taking my 80 year old Dad to WDW in a few days and we'll be staying at WL for the first two nights before moving to BCV. He'll be in a ECV and having never stayed at WL before I want to have my ducks in a row as far as transporation goes. We won't have a car.

I understand that it can sometimes be impossible to get an ECV on the boat to MK, CR & etc. because of the difference in the ramp and the boat? This has got me worried and a little bummed because I've got a PS at Calif Grill, & want to do MK while we're on that side of the world. If we can't take the boat to MK, I guess we'll have to take a bus to TTC then boat or monorail over. Anyone have any experience with an ECV on the boat?

So if I nix MK from WL idea due to the boat hassel thing and take Dad to Epcot our first day instead, is there a direct bus from WL or do we have to go to the TTC and catch a bus or monorail from there?

Sorry if this has been answered before. I've scanned the first few pages of this thread and found lots of good info just not what I needed today.

Majestic , Fred

Great timer and you are going to stay at WL this is wonderful news...So happy you got the reservations you wanted. (We get a new Memory Box)

jennymouse,

I have stayed at WL many times and guest on ECV's have always boarded on the launch to MK without any trouble they have a gangplank or gangway that they can use if the water level is way down or up...have never seen them have to use it though. Not 100% sure about the smaller boats between WL and CR but I'm sure they can accommodate you, please check at guest services at the Lodge if someone else doesn't post with additional information, I think the gangplank could also be used with the Resort boats.

Yes,::yes:: there is a bus to EPCOT, MGM , and AK. I have sometimes gone to TTC just so I can ride the Monorail to EPCOT,
but it is faster to take the bus from the Lodge to EPCOT.

Hope you and your Dad have a Magical Trip. :wizard:

Thanks for the info and the pixie dust, Magic! I was lurking around on the DISablilities board and saw it mentioned that depending on the water level, it can be difficult. I guess we'll give it a try. I just don't want Dad to get discouraged right off the bat if things don't go well with getting him around. It took forever for me to get him to agree to going, I don't want him mad, scared and staying in the room the whole trip. I want it the trip with him to go smoooooooooooth.;)

Fred - Will you be there on the 17th?? I think I am meeting a friend from NY..and If the Majestic family and DisneyDmbNut family could get to meet and take a pic, that would be great...let me know!

Could someone answer a question about the Yosemite and Yellowstone Suites?

I was told that each can connect to a concierge room. We may need to book the concierge room with the suite in May if additional family goes with us.

Does anyone know where the room connects with the suites? Is it in the living room?

Thanks in advance.:D :D

As for the Yosemite suite, there is a connecting room and it connects in the living room. Click the link in my signature and check out the WL photo gallery. I think I put pics of the suite there. If not, let me know, I can email you some that I have from September.

The suite is on the concierge floor (7th). I stayed in the same suite and I have to say that it was fantastic. What a great room. We were upgraded for free. :)

Not sure how any other stay will match that one. :)

We WILL be there on the 17th but our afternoon and evening are planned at the Magic Kingdom. If you want to do a morning or early afternoon thing, we may be able to get together then! Would love to hook up with yas! We are going to be down from the 14th to the 18th.

Marge~
I would pack you in my luggage if I could  Thanks for the PD...I needed it tonight ::yes::

Kind of off topic but did anyone here ever eat at the Liberty Tree Tavern in MK before? Can you post here or PM me with your experience? We are thinking of trying it for dinner one night and I hear it's a character dinner?

Thanks!

Fred - yes, we ate there one night for dinner..it was my DD birthday and they sat us at a table that had Mickey confetti all over it and ballons..the food was very good ( Stouffer's ) turkey, mash potatos, veggies served Family style...Minnie and Goofy were there for sure, I think C&D and Mickey too..but I am not 100% on them...Kinda Colonial attire...Good Choice!!

Hey Betsy and Fred,
We're gonna be there the 16th-23rd. Let me know if you guys are gonna get together!! VWL the whole time. What day are you free?
