Like a Bad Meal (V Keeps Coming Back) - THE END! 1/12/09

I live VERY close to the Boston Pops. I have seen the 4th of July show. I have one very nice queen guest bed and one decent-ish sofa bed, plus an air mattress that fits on the floor between the beds of two boys who adore Leo. See you 7/4/09. ::yes::

Am I invited too, CE?? I love me some Boston Pops!!!!

I found this installment to be quite entertaining, not to mention a learning experience! Let's see....

Grownup grilled cheese sandwiches that are just great! :thumbsup2
Tuna salad that's sooooo good it borders on questionable usage!!
A talking-back-to-mother incident!!! My, my, my!!! I totally understand. Sometimes, words just jump out of your mouth before you know it!:headache: Without thinking, the words just spill out......How did Gramma react to it? I must admit, I did chuckle reading the part about possibly explaining AGAIN to a lifeguard that your child can swim!:rotfl:

Yes, quite entertaining!!! :thumbsup2

Shh, I've never set foot in the Poly...

:scared1: It's beautiful!

V - I'm FINALLY caught up! Yay.

Glad to hear Fay left you intact.

Oh, and Go State.

Your description of the Poly has me so psyched for 18ish days from now. Especially psyched.
And that may or may not be because of this Dole Whip machine of what you speak.

I think I'll be checking in as CARGO on the way home.

Yay for the updates! Can't wait to hear about the August trips.

Ducks=Swimmers Itch!!

I was in Florida Labor Day weekend-wow, was it hot~~~

OK Now I have to try this!
::yes:: Here's the description on allears...
Grown-up Grilled Cheese - multigrain sunflower bread with cheddar, swiss, and blue cheese, frisee and tomato

Me too V. That's why I like pictures so much:thumbsup2
They're a life-saver, no? Well, a trip report saver anyway. ;)

So how was the tuna?
I got the impression she didn't like it.
:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

What is in it?
See above!
YUMMO! Can you make cones there???
Good question... They just handed me cups, but maybe if you ask?

Your mom reminds me so much of my MIL. We really need to start looking into the Bangladesh accomodations soon!
:rotfl2:
Now, you can start the trippie that everyone wants to read about, right? FockerFest babeee!!!! popcorn::
::yes::

Yaaaaaa Leo for swimming so well now....my kids swim like rocks still. Gotta get em kickin. ;)
Awww, hang in there - I swear it happened overnight! :thumbsup2

Thank you SO much for posting pics from VWL...I honestly hadn't pictured anything in there before so it was an AWESOME surprise. Hmmm...me thinks we need to try this place out too:thumbsup2 Right after Beach Club. Right after AKV.

Somebody stop me!
Oh yeah, I'm sure to be a BIG help in that department!

Michael's a crappy swimmer.
No way - I saw him do some great swimming! Perhaps it's 'selective swimming' though. ;)

C. Yes Ma'am .. remind the kid till he is on his Honeymoon if you have to that he hits the water.. arms and legs need to move.
Exactly!
"What is that Lovely fragrence you are wearing... "White Diamonds ??.. "Forever".. ??
Nah.... it's Tuna Salad :rotfl2: .. Oh Baby Take me Now :rotfl2:
:rotfl2:

Say, do you need a local KTTW (i.e. WL/VWL) to get into these showers?
Not that I could tell. There was a little box for a keyed entry, but I suspect it's only in use after 10 or 11pm. I think you've got a GREAT plan! :thumbsup2

the ducks sound scary. Biff would have cardiac arrest there if that happened to him.
 Dude, stear clear of the WL pool area!

Fantastic, do they do the juice too?
Sadly no. :sad2:
Wow I really can't believe how many times she says stuff, Bangladesh looks better and better doesn't it
::yes::

Great installment! You're far too modest, V.
You're so sweet - thank you!
Thanks for posting the pictures of VWL--it does look gorgeous, and Leo looks so happy playing checkers!
Yeah, he had NO idea what he was doing, but proclaimed himself 'The Winner'.

Ducks...in case you were wondering...are the attacking brown bears of the bird world. I"m just sayin...
:lmao:

I actually have dreams where I get this mad at my mother. Sad, isn't it? But if I actually said this to her, she'd never get over it. I don't love her, blah, blah, blah.
One nice thing about Gramma's passive-aggressive tendencies - she says nothing back! :rotfl:

Congrats on the bunk bed score! I pay for them. Because I have two Leos. We have to keep track - YEAR TO YEAR - whose turn it is in the top bunk. Next time it is Woody's on the first day, FYI.
:rotfl2: I never thought of that!

:woohoo: I may have to decline until 2010 though - I'm not scheduled ot have Leo in 2009. :sad1:
And I took this for Jen, but it looks like you need it, too:

:scared:

So, V, don't be shy. Tell us how you felt about the tuna. ;)
:rotfl:
And the Poly.
:cloud9:
I've got some stories to tell about that place...:headache:
This sounds ominous.
Stick to the Tambu lounge. :thumbsup2
Oh NO!!!!! :guilty:

Shh, I've never set foot in the Poly...
:faint:

Tuna salad that's sooooo good it borders on questionable usage!!
:rotfl: Yep, that about sums it up!

Oh, and Go State.

I hope you love it!

Ducks=Swimmers Itch!!
ACCKK!! :scared1:
I was in Florida Labor Day weekend-wow, was it hot~~~
Seriously. All these storms are pulling the moisture away and leaving it scorching here.

 Dude, stear clear of the WL pool area!

I will.

I saw the weather forecast for next week and it is in the 90's. I will be very warm but hey I will be at Disney

Adventures by DIsney Trip to CE's house for the 4th of July 2010. WHere are Z and Mo, our ABD travel agents;)

Well, I liked the last installment. :goodvibes I don't know what you're talking about. :confused3 Loved the WL pics. Guess what? I just booked VWL yesterday as an add on to our Jan. trip! Heh Heh! I can't help myself! :rotfl:

I'm sad to see this chapter end, but of course, I can't wait to hear all about August... :surfweb:

Have I mentioned how much I looooove the Poly yet in this report?
Ummm... are we supposed to keep count? :confused3 Gush away my friend... I'm right there witcha! :lovestruc

The Poly represents all that is Disney to me – warm days, yummy food unlike that at home, tropical foliage, the sounds of water all around you, and a sense of relaxed adventure. I really feel any tension leave my body each and every time I step through the doors. It’s my own personal therapy session.
::yes:: Yup... what she said.

It wasn’t very crowded and we had a nice little space where Leo was paddling around and Gramma and I were standing. Only Leo wasn’t paddling as much as I’d like. He wasn’t kicking either. Mostly, he was doing a little rendition of Dead Body Floating.
Sorry, but that made me giggle but j ust a teeny tiny bit, I promise.:rolleyes1

On this particular day, I’d only reminded him a couple times. On the third-ish reminder, Gramma busts out with, “Give him a break already – he's tired! Can’t you just let him float if he wants to?!”
:headache:

“Well no, I can’t give him a ‘break’ because the next time he goes down a slide, I don’t want to have to explain to the rescue lifeguard how my child does, in fact, know how to swim. Neither do I want to ever have to explain to his father how he DROWNED because there was no lifeguard. So I believe I’ll continue reminding him to kick until he kicks of his own accord 100% of the time. Got that?!?! LEO – KICK!!!!!”

Hey V? Bangladesh. ;)

Let’s just talk about the TUNA SANDWICH!
More magic?? :faint:

:rotfl2: I love what goggles do to their eyes! Maddie looks like Edna Mode from the Incredibles with hers on! :lmao:

Stay tuned!

Hey V? Bangladesh. ;)
I know, right?!
:rotfl2: I love what goggles do to their eyes! Maddie looks like Edna Mode from the Incredibles with hers on! :lmao:
:rotfl: I can totally picture it! I especially love when the strap slides down and folds Leo's ears over. He starts resembling Yoda. ;)

I may or may not have called them losers as I pulled out of my front-row spot. :rolleyes1

:lmao:

okay, i'm hooked!!

she did not????!!! OMG!!!

don't think this was overkill at all!! i think it was completely appropriate!! :thumbsup2

So good I wanted to take it apart and smear the contents all over my body good.

 OMG!!:lmao:

It seems ducks DO bite, despite their lack of teeth, when tuna salad is involved. Or maybe it wasn’t the tuna. Maybe it was the chips. Fries. Bread. Lettuce. Or any other food item present in the area. That was NOT being thrown in the ducks’ direction.

DUCK ATTACKS???!! is this a new focker thing???

August was nearly upon us, and with it came the trip to end all Disney trips. Really. :goodvibes

do i detect a little foreshadowing here???!!! popcorn::
