I didn't even know you could meet Thumper!!! How awesome that you got to meet some new characters. And wow! Pocahontas is so beautiful! I'm with you on FOTLK. It is my favorite!!! It's on the must-do list for Sept since we didn't see it in June. I love all the pics Ken took on his wasy through Asia. Just stunning!

I was surprised too that Thumper was out and about! I had read that he was one of those very Rare characters! Ken did do a GREAT job with the photography on this trip!! I was glad to let him do it!

I would love to meet Thumper! He's one of my favorites. We didn't go to AK in Dec, so I'm hopeful he will be there in July when we go. I'd like to see FOTLK again as it's been a few years since we've been. Last Jan. we opted for Finding Nemo instead. Maybe we can do both next time and hit Kali too (it will be hot enough in July!)
I'm too chicken to ride EE. I used to love roller coasters, but since I had kids, I get more motion sickness and can't handle the steep drops. I like going on smaller ones though.

I can't remember if I've commented on your trip report before, but if not, hi! I've been following along since the beginning.

Just had to comment on the pictures of FOTLK. For a minute there, I thought the flying monkeys were jumping super-high OVER the fire twirler. And I thought, "Wow, they got extra stunts in their show!" Then I realized that it's two pictures with black backgrounds placed right next to each other. But it still looks pretty cool!

ME TOO!!!! Before kids I was a serious Roller Coaster junkie! I could do all of them with no problems whatsoever! After kids - totally different experience! I think perhaps it has to do with a change in our center of gravity?? I am too chicken to do EE but I love ALL of the rest of WDW's coasters! Well, except Space, I got a sore neck on that one. It didn't make me sick though.

It will definitely be HOT enough for Kali in July! Gosh I think even I would risk getting wet just to cool off if we ever did Disney in the summer like that!

HI!!! Sorry for the confusion! That is too funny! Nope, no new tricks! Although that would be a GREAT one to have the tumble monkeys jumping over the fire eater!!!

I KNOW!!! What's up with that??? I totally just can't wrap my head around that backwards part! I think it would totally mess me up for the rest of the day! Not sure if it is worth the risk?!

I love that my girls still LOVE the characters! Bambi was one of Ems fave movies when she was a toddler! She would hop around the house saying " I'm thumpin', that's why they call me Thumper!" It was sooo cute!

We are going to Disneyland this time from Oct 17-23 so pretty close to halloween I am hoping for somegood weather...the last 2 trips to Flordia have been closer there than igt was here So hopefully California will give us some good weather
