Look what I missed! I'm so glad you are getting into a program, and moving toward healing. I've been praying for you since we talked at CC way back when - this is a huge step in the direction you are heading! God is Good.

We might be 50 lbs heavier I wouldn't say Walmart has a travel isle, I would say a travel bin or two You may need some intervention from Target withdrawals when you come back. Love and prayers to you.

Hi Jordan! I know you’re here; I see your green light on.

Everyone has said anything I could ever think of to share with you as you start this journey. Their words come from the heart for sure. The Bible says we all have gifts. One of yours is touching people’s hearts, reaching people. I can tell you that you and your DIS friends have helped me come out of my shell a little bit. I may get brave enough to come to Peep Fest!

My personal theory is that you are already coming up out of the valley. The next few months may be real tough but the best is yet to come! (Just a thought; I think the Post Office finances will be in the black with all the letters we’ll be sending. We’ll put the PO back in business!)

Rozz I'm so glad your here, and you've said it best when you say Jordy's heart is here to touch other's.

I have the 2005 and 2007 one's, you'll probably be getting them off and on with your letters I send you. Soooo this means you'll have to PM me your addie and the # where you'll be. I miss you Jordy. I know you'll be in good hands where you'll be because God will see it so. Your such an amazing person with an amazing ability to connect with people, it's one of the things I love most about you. Believe me when I tell you that you've already been given the gift of loving others through the eyes of God to a great capacity as it is. This trip will help you start on the journey to clearing the road block's that keep you from going the rest of the way, I know this because God has started me on this journey too. You've got it in spades already my friend, just imagine what the future holds once you've gotten major road block's out of the way!!
Just remember to arm yours self everyday...I think you know what I'm talking about, pray yourself up, ask the Holy spirit to fill you every morning when you get up and every moment when you start to feel you need a refill, which might be a lot while there in recovery. Every time I feel I've spent a great amount of energy on someone else or myself I ask for another filling. Your going to get through this one because there's a great many people praying for it and because God wants you coming out the other side feeling like the man He created and loved you into being! Love you and your beautiful soul my BInC. Now! Go into the enemy's camp and take back what he stole from you!!!

I am like you. My handwriting sucks now. I just get so impatient writing that I write really fast...I can barely read my own writing...

We'll trade barely decipherable notes. I can barely read my own writing too. Heck half the time I truly can't read it, I try to type everything anymore. Which makes it hard to instill the art of the handwritten note with the kids.

About the statement in your post of loving people as God loves them-People can be very hard to love; with some of us it’s just some of the time we’re difficult to love but for others it’s pert near impossible to feel any love for them any of the time! I know what you mean though. I hope you don’t feel bad about yourself for having a hard time controlling bad thoughts about some people. Sounds like you’ve got a reason to that many of us could never begin to imagine. Enough of that!

Hi Millie12591! Ain’t it the truth! Jordan’s gift is a blessing to us! Hopefully, it’s not a burden to him.

That reminds me, Jordan, can I get your address also? My kids love to read funny greetings cards and I want them to pick one out to send to you. I’ll want to drop you a note or two along the way. Want to make sure you have enough wall paper!

Jordan, I hate that I was so late to the game here, but I feel like you have become a good friend here on the DIS. I hate I haven't been here while you've been posting. I'm glad you are about to start your road to recovery! I know it is tough to face with all the unknowns and having to really self-examine, but I will be praying for you to have the strength to face the challenges ahead and come through it a well and happy person! I know you are leaving tomorrow and may not see this but I wanted to give you a big fat healing hug. As a therapist who works at the in patient level, I commend your bravery in taking this road. Many are not as brave and insightful. Just remember this process is a journey, not an event and it takes time. Give yourself that favor and allow yourself to grieve and heal at your pace. I wish you nothing but the best and am sending lots of love.
