We'll be here! :goodvibes Now that I finally have my computer working right, or was it the computer? I'm hearing some others having issues lastnight on the boards. :confused3

By the way Jordy, how do I find you on FB?

I LOVE artichoke dip..

here's an easy recipe for artichoke dip (no spinach)

2 cans of quartered artichokes IN WATER (maria brand) (chop them into small pieces)
1 sm. can sliced olives (drain water)
1 sm. can diced jalapenos (drain juice)
2 cups mayo
2.5-3 cups of shredded parmesan cheese

dump ingredients into a pyrex pan. mix well and cook at 400 for 20-25 minutes.

Dude, I'm a little insulted with no credit for this considering I'm the one who made you famous with this recipe... hee hee hee hee. :rolleyes1

I make this with just the artichokes, the kind that are marinated in the oil is good too. :cloud9: Also make sure to use freshly grated parm., it's much better this way.

Definitely on the fresh grated... don't use the bottled grated cheese... get the packaged one. But we didn't have such luck with the marinated, it got all oily and weird (so the recipe I had said "not marinated")... but maybe your recipe is tweaked a bit so it doesn't do that...? :confused3

This is our standard requested dip at all our family functions (so Jordan and I have to decide who's making it or we'll end up with a double batch... not that that would be a bad thing...) and I do it for various potlucks and other functions. It's always a hit... and I mean ALWAYS.

I also have the California Pizza Kitchen recipe for spinach artichoke dip which is AWESOME but it's got a million ingredients so you need some time to make this - but it makes a ton and it's soooooooo yummy. If anyone wants the recipe, PM me and I'll send it.

That is great you got to do a DIS meet at DL, I have never been further west than tallahassee, but it has always been a dream to fly to California and visit DL. I am currently in the process of trying to convince my husband that we should. He has taken to WDW really well. A lot better than I thought he would. When we first started dating, I used to have to kind of force him to go, but now he usually asks when we are going to go or if I have blocked off time to go on our yearlyl WDW vacation. I hope I get to visit soon and can't wait to hear the rest of your TR. :cool1:

My DH was the same way... not so much the Disney fan when we first met but now I've won him over and clearly now, created a monster since he DISes more than I do now and anxiously awaits our WDW/DCL vacations. Be careful what you wish for... ha ha ha ha. :headache:

im here

i have a new love for the artichoke dip, i have had it a few places recently and it is very good.

i wonder if it is easy to make?

any of you ladies or gents, have a good one that is easy to make?

I got a great recipe from a hostess in Boise.

Buy the Knorr brand vegetable soup and dip mix (bright yellow package)
The recipe is on the back, but it has canned artichokes (not pickled) and a small box of frozen spinach. Thaw and drain the spinach. Anyway, I think it's mozerella and mayo, but the recipe is on it. You chop the veggies, then mix it up quick and bake it. YUMMY

Oops I see someone already came to Dan's rescue. MAYBE IT WAS PARM

Jordy, gotta back Wendy on this one, dude, I was waiting for her credit, at least in the fine print... :confused3

Oh great, so now my DW is complaining that I appreciate being married to a Disney fanatic.....like Roz, "I'm watching...I'm always watching you"....(at least on DIS). And glad to see you're having fun at work while I have kiddie duty tonight...

Found you, Jorday! You can't hide from me! :magnify:

Great DIS-meet!! Congrats to Alison... you are no longer considered one of Jordan's "imaginary" friends!!

Kathy

wassup Kathy....:)

Technically, you are still an "imaginary" friend....doesn't feel like it though.

So, yep, I'm all ready for part two to have a real update. Although it was nice to see your DIS meet.
I've never been to Disneyland and my husband isn't sure he wants to go. Anyone up for going with me? :rolleyes1

there and everywhere.

Oh Jedi Master :yoda:, I have a question for you....I see that your last thread was ranked #1 in terms of replies (with 3,762 replies as of now) but was ranked #7 in views (with like 80,701 views) compared to 236,522 views for mickeystoontown and she is on page 205....does that mean she has a ton more lurkers around but you get more out of the dark, so to speak? Just curious what the stats imply.:confused3 Please instruct a newbie :teacher:

I just found your trip report last week and in the time it took me to catch up (and I read only your updates and not the entire thread!), you are already on a part 2! Unbelievable!

I read your last trip report and really enjoyed it, so count me on board for this one!

I look forward to the tales of your nieces and nephew. I now have my own little one (He's 6 months now) and can't wait until we can take him on his first trip! Any stories of little ones to help prepare me are always helpful!

:welcome:

Plenty more kid stories.....
