(I hope this is the right place to post this! :confused3)

So I was at CVS last night shopping for our leprechaun goodies, and came across some Disney Light Sticks for $3.99! They're about the length of a kid ball point pen, and are triangular shaped. They've got a neck cord, and blink or can be solid lights (I think different colors, not sure though, as I don't want to pull the plastic battery tab out just yet). The're really cute and waaaay cheaper alternative than the sticks/toys they sell at the fireworks and shows! They were in the "spring toys" section at the end of the Easter candy and baskets/toys aisle. I saw nemo, tinkerbell, lightening mcqueen and the power rangers (I didn't realize they were disney) ... there may have been other ones, but the whole aisle was kind of picked over (it was 2am, and they were working on cleaning the store LOL!)

HTH some!!

eta - this is my first post, yay me! i've been a member for almost a year and i guess i mainly lurk LOL!

Ohhh thats good to know I was just wondering where else I could look for those at. I lurked for a while myself lol.

Just wanted to follow up. I picked mine up yesterday. They had all the ones you mentioned, but they also had princesses, so my daughter is going to love that!

I also found them at Wal-Mart. In the toy section there is an aisle that has all kinds of bins of cheaper toys... Found these light sticks for $2.99 and the spinning light globe things for $4.99.

It's not a Disney themed thing, but I found a full size glow wand at the Dollar Tree the other day. They had a star, butterfly & something else....I don't remember, maybe a flower? Anyway, I picked up one for my DD. We'll be going down to the World in May & I thought I could wip this out of my "secret stash" when all the vendors in their flashing, dazzling, light filled carts come wheeling around before Spectro and Wishes. I got the butterfly one, it's probably about a foot long with the butterfly on top and it glows yellow when activated. She's only 3, so she should like it! And for only a dollar, it's worth it!

I've bought those light "wands" before... The topper is removable, so I ended up super-gluing the tops prior to giving them to my daughter. It's quite a sturdy glow stick and lasted a very long time!
