Any one have a good recipe for a dessert to follow a heavy beef pot roast? referably something which can be made in advance. I have raspberries in my freezer from last summer so it might be good to use those:thumbsup2 My orginal idea was a chocolate brownie cake, but not only is it heavy its very big so I'll be eating leftovers and ruining my diet.:sad2:

Any suggestions?

How about an angel food cake? You can use the raspberries to make a nice sauce, or serve them as is. Maybe add a bit of whipped cream? Thats shouldn't hurt the diet too much.

I don't know if it's warm there, but a nice sherbert topped with the raspberries would be nice and light.:)

We had 3 inches of Snow last Sunday, so its not warm! But the recipe sounds nice if you have it!

I like the tart, but I need something with little or no leftovers  That would ruin my diet! My DSis unfortunately doesn't like meringues or I'd do that (DH and I love them). Maybe I can do half the tart quantity and do individual tarts.

That might be nice. I've only made it with fruits that need cooking, do you just put the cobbler on top of the raw fruit and pop it in the oven?
