Lifeproof Case for iphone

I love my lifeproof case for my iphone, waterproof, drop proof, SOUND PROOF- anyone else have this issue? It doesn't ring, or make noise when texts come in- I'm getting ready to buy an Otterbox- does everyone have this issue with Lifeproof case? Is there anything I can do? love the case but getting frustrated at missing calls & texts..

My DS has a Lifeproof case on his iphone and he doesn't have any issue with missing calls or texts. His doesn't ring or chime though, he has it on vibrate.

I have one all the time but if i take in and out of the case u might want to check the little switch on the side for silence or on that was happening to me all the time

I have a Lifeproof case for my iPhone 5C and can hear sound through it with no problems. The sound is just slightly muffled, but I can still hear it. Like PP suggested, make sure you didn't accidentally silent the phone with the little toggle switch on the side.
