Life’s too short...to never sleep in a treehouse! 8/27 TR is up! Link in siggie

I can do it in about 3 sentences; here goes:

Scarlett, the totally spoiled, rotten brat woman, goes out and seduces about 3 married men, and steals BOTH of her sister's would-be husbands. She cries a lot like a big, fat whiner; and holds a forbidden love in her heart with her best friend's husband for years. When she doesn't get her way she throws temper tantrums, then vows to live at Tara forever wishing Rhett would forgive her for all the above.

How's that?

I think I maybe hopelessly behind on your PTR!

Your activity books are too cool! I love them!!! The boys are going to so excited when they find out what their actual destination is!!!

BTW, I have my brand new TR up and running! Click here, come on over!

Great updates!!

Love the T-shirt!!

ADR's look great!! Yum!

As far as the Big Reveal...so cool!! The boys are going to be so excited!! Love the puzzle designs and the activity pages are great!! You have so inspired me to try and make some activity pages for our next trip.:thumbsup2 Although I'm sure they won't measure up to yours. You are sooooo creative!!:goodvibes

Oh and guess what? Plans change...again. I've finally booked a trip!!!:woohoo: We are heading back in April!! Can't wait!!

As my kids finish up Gone with the Wind, (I picked a loooooooooong one purpose) I can catch up on all these threads I'm soooooooo far behind on.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? The E's are going to be blown away for sure!! I wish I could be a sky marshall on the plane and see them be stunned (don't take that literally) by the big reveal!

I didn't realize you were going to do the Q. Mary too! Fun. Last time we were in Long Beach, we just didn't want to pony up the $20 per person to go on it. Too expensive! We just went for a walk instead and ended up doing the Mission at San Juan Cap instead.

Yeah, it's pricey. Who knows, we could end up just eating brunch and looking at it and not going the tour. Our day so SO loosey goosey San Juan Cap isn't out of the realm of possiblity.

I do plan on taking pics of them on the plane opening and putting the puzzles together, etc. :)

If you ever want a condensed version of Gone with the Wind....I can do a one woman show in about 3.5 minutes.

YouTube.

That's all I have to say about that!

Your plans for the big reveal look fantastic!! I love the pages for the workbook - I think E & E will have a lot of fun! :thumbsup2

Thanks! It's pretty much done now, I just need to decide if I want to add any journal pages at the back, not sure if they'd really use them or not and then go to Costco and get them made, I'm going to spiral bind them and do the covers on a heaver coated paper.

WOW I think your reveal is going to be great!!!!!!!

Thanks Jen! I'm excited. Too bad I have to wait 2+ months!

I've never seen the movie, but that I'd like to see.

You've never seen GWTW?

Judy's been slacking!

Mostly chatter, feel free to use the links, I don't think you are that behind actually. Welcome back and I can't wait to read about your VERY COLD trip!

Have you read the book? She's even worse in it than the movie...plus she has children by her first and I think 2nd husbands, and totally ignores them.

The movie made her look like a saint compared to the book.

Very true, she's a piece of work to be sure. The kind that gives all women a bad name!

I thought she had Mammy make it for her... :rolleyes1 But yeah, green velvet...so cool!! My girls want the snood she wears in the flick.

My girls say she is a complete brat! (Their words) I haven't read the books, Ummm, I DIS. So many threads, so little time.

Are you kidding? I want the snood!

Yeah...she did have Mammy make it for her....it was resourceful though.

my favorite Carol Burnett skit the curtain dress with the rod still attached.:rotfl2:

THAT I have GOT to see! (snort!) :lmao:

you seriously haven't seen it??

I would love to have the white and green dress she wears to go to the Hamiltons.........I'd even wear it.....ok, I'd wear it at home, for halloween and if I ever need to embarass my kids.

Awesome pages! Of course any page with Biscuits in the word search is a winner in my book.

Not really, I just need a job!

A job that pays.

Sigh.

Ditto, sister!

The plan looks awesome, and the puzzles and pages more than awesome! I think I'm going to have to come up with some fun stuff like that when the time comes - you've inspired me. Uh, I may need a little help, though!

It's be pretty with your coloring :goodvibes

:rotfl: I didn't even think of that! The Biscuits of course are in reference to Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner but you've shed a whole new light on them!

Happy to help!

Finally saw your pictures of the puzzles and the activity books. Did you ever think of starting a business doing this? "Cynthia's Custom Made Travel Activities". You could do templates and your customer could fill in what they want to include. Then you wip them up and sell them. They would clearly retail for people who can afford luxury items, and who can better afford a luxury item, then someone who vacations frequently and wants a great keepsake.

Look, I am so not creative (except on a good day with music), but I am one of those "early adapters". It's a person who sees a good idea and buys into it really quickly. I seriously think you may be on to something! :thumbsup2 You could copyright your own designs. Oh ...well....what am I telling you this for? This is your forte.

Anyway...sorry...I get a little excited whenever i see something that I thing could turn into a business opportunity.

Aww, that's so sweet!

I really do need to get my own website up and running and try a few things out there whether it's stuff like this or digital scrapbook paper, cards/invitations, custom canvas art, whatever.

I get paranoid about trademarks and copyrights and all that though. So for example while the combination of what I made for the books, and my sisters wedding paper, some of the elements used came from the public domain and is not my own original art. In the case of the paper, it may or may not be noticeable. In the case of the activity books, it for sure is, I couldn't' use a bit of Disney art in it other than mickey heads as I believe that shape is in the public domain and can't be controlled (not positive though!) . So I'd have to beef up original art and illustrations and all that and I get a little overwhelmed just considering the body of work that would be ideal to show a good amount of samples.

But I really should do something. LOL!

No. I figure if Rhett doesn't give a darn, neither should I.

my favorite Carol Burnett skit the curtain dress with the rod still attached.:rotfl2:

Mine too. I like Harvey Korman as Rhett Butler too.

More useless information: Bob Mackie (the same guy who designed Cher's outlandish dresses for the Sonny & Cher show) made that curtain dress for Carol.
