Yes, the stage show! At the 5th Avenue, which I have not been to since I moved back and Jeff has never been.

Can you believe it? I am so excited. Jeff was very firm about three nights, until he saw the numbers! We could have gone for 3, for $10 less. No brainer.

Finally got the cards done and ordered. Actually thought about not doing them at all (to save $$) and got roundly scolded yesterday. It didn't help that it happened at a jewelry party where the hostess had a lovely display of her favorite xmas cards of the past and 2 of ours were up!

Amazing how guilt can work. Could they have been better? Undoubtedly. I just didn't have any fabulous ideas! Kind of sad that this it the picture I used. Not because I don't love the pic, as I do. But because we haven't had a family pic since then so it's hardly recent of any of us (last Feb). Jeff has agreed we are going to do a YC photopass shoot, YAY! So at least next years cards should have a great shot, probably my last chance for all 6 for a while.

I hope everyone had a great weekend, I didn't get to DIS as much as I'd like but did get the tree up, the inside decorations done, cards designed and ordered, a big dent in the prep for Evan's 1st degree interational black belt test, a bunch of Eric's homework (3rd grade, on the weekend, really? I know it's hi-cap but...ugh!) and still managed to get in a killer vball game, a pta party, the jewelry party and breakfast with my best friend from HS. Not to mention one decent workout (which is better than none) and most of the darn cub scout evergreens dispersed (which is good as I want my garage back!). Sadly the only cooking I've done was making a salad for the pta party and I'm avoiding figuring out what to make tonight (yes, it's 7:30...I did feed the kids but have no clue what to feed Jeff and I) but other than that, a successful weekend!

So if I didn't make it by your TR or PTR, I will! I'm slowly but surely getting caught up.

I think the exhaustion comes from exercising patience. the rest is just busywork. I'm working on the patience piece. Bought myself a bracelet at the party..

It's hard to get a decent pic of all 6 of us, the 2 from the Feb trip, HDDR and then the AK at night TOL shot are basically the best we have since our wedding! The photo shoot we did with Jeff's mom has some killer group shots but not of the 6 of us. I really hope August will get us one of those.

We typically plan 7 nights of back to back xmas movies once the boys break starts....both of those are in the lineup! PE is Eric's fav, Evan hasn't committed to one yet.

Great Wolf Lodge looks like so much fun! We're hoping to bring the boys for a weekend trip after the New Year to a indoor water park in the area. It's similar to GWL just smaller. Glad you had a good time!!

Not remotely enough. I need an alternate reality for there to be enough hours!

Well I left out the 2 hour haircut adventure but the boys look better than they have in a long time, Eric especially (whose last decent cut was at MSB...his hair is HARD!). So we are ready to visit Santa now.

I love NY cards, I always leave my cards up through Jan anyway as most arrive pretty close to the 25th as it is and I like to look at them.

Yeah, I didn't figure you'd be helpful in the seafood area. Jeff's got a plan for bfast, some dive in Long Beach he used to live at. He's dreaming of a certain "galley mess".

Almost done. For a day or two anyway. Thanks on the siggie, it was fun putting it together. I'm a bit annoyed as to why the 2 cruise pictures have white speckles, I keep hoping they can figure it out before I try to create a new banner, I really like those pictures but I don't like the speckles, they aren't there in my original file!
