DH and I LOVE Character meals. We have done Crystal Palace twice and were thinking that the LTT looked like fun. Could anyone share their experiences!?!
Our group really enjoyed it - it was DH and I, our 2 & 4 year old and my parents. The characters were wonderful (Minnie, Pluto, Chip, Dale and Meeko) and the food was very good. Everyone had a great time, and would go back in a minute.
Liberty Tree Tavern is GREAT!!! The food is so yummy and the characters are wonderful. Chip and Dale are always so playful. This is a must do for my family.
Unlike other character meals, it is not buffet but it is still a set menu that they serve to you at your table (and you can order seconds and thirds). Food is good and characters there always seem to be more active and interactive than elsewhere. They are dressed Revolutionary War Navy and the theme of the restaurant is the same period. For character meals this our top on the list.
We have done a lot of the character meals and this one is our favorite of all. The food is great and I like being waited on rather than a buffet. The characters are great. Our service at Christmas was not the most friendly, but we were taken care of and it was fine. A great meal. .
We enjoy everything about the LTT. The food is good and there's plenty of it. The service and atmosphere are great. The characters all made it to our table easily while we were there. At Crystal Palace we waited and waited even after we finished our breakfast and Eyore never did come to our area. We will be going back to LTT this trip.
I ate there for the first time in 2002 and I loved it. The food was great (I love aturkey dinner!) and the characters made it all the more fun. Goofy was a lot of fun. He kept picking on me. I got a lot of cool pictures with him and the other characters, especially Minnie. I hope to eat there every time that I go back to WDW, it was that good.
Went to LTT in Dec. The characters were great- Meeko was the best. Sat down and tried to feed our DS6- without much luck! It was very funny and made his night- which was great because the food was not a hit for him. Dinner is a Thanksgiving sit-down, and if your kids do not like it there are no substitutions. (It does come with mac & cheese- Stouffers not Kraft so another dissapointment for my picky eater !) Lunch would be a better bet- there is a menu to choose from. We got the last PS time of the night- 15 minutes before park closing time. This was right after Spectro. Missed the fireworks b/c we were inside, but the characters had so much time with our guys it was a good trade off. Also- Minnie is there!!!! Saved us much time not having to wait in Toon Town for her autograph!! After dinner we strolled through an empty MK- magical for my boys! Spent a lot of time expolring the things that get blocked by all those pesky crowds!
The meal was my DH's favorite- the mashed potatoes were a big hit! !
