It wasn't a good as the last time we had the all you care to eat/family style. The macaroni and cheese was extremely disappointing. Either I had covid or it had zero taste at all. The cheese on the macaroni seemed to be watered down cheese. Or low fat, low protein, low salt, low everything. The green beans were good, but a bit too much garlic. Dressing/stuffing was mushy. Turkey was sliced thick, so my husband ate it all. I ate the pot roast (not enough gravy) and the pork roast. Not enough mashed potatoes on the plate. The rolls were old and hard. Your typical buy an entire box of 12 and break them apart rolls. The cranberry sauce was really saucy, not jellied at all and no berries. More like slightly thick cranberry juice. Turkey gravy had a very good taste.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. We ate there for the first time on Thanksgiving day and it was fresh and wonderful. It's all you care to eat, so they would have been more than happy to bring you more potatoes if needed. We got extra of the mac and cheese because we all absolutely loved it and my kids were hogging it all 😂.

That's how the mac and cheese was a few years ago, the last time I ate there. Barely seemed to be any cheese involved.

Yeah, like flour and water with yellow food coloring.

It wasn’t bad when we ate there in October, but I wouldn’t run back, either. We were sat in the saloon and the atmosphere felt really out of place for us.

We ate there on Saturday. Definitely not something I need to repeat. Overall, it wasn't bad, just sorta "meh". Turkey was so heavily infused with sage as too be almost inedible - none of us could eat it, and we all love turkey. The pot roast was very good, as were the green beans. Rolls were hard, dry and tasteless. The Ooey-gooey toffee cake was good.

As for them bringing more of anything; our experience was our waiter (on the few times he actually came by the table) seemed miffed when we asked for something, took forever to bring it, and then it was either cold or he brought so little for the 4 of us that he might as well not bothered.

Our experience as well!

I don't see the allure of Liberty Tree to pay that much for Thanksgiving dinner.

Two years ago their Mac and cheese was abysmal. Last year it was some of the best on property. Apparently this year it’s back to being bad, bummer.

Service, sad to say, is always bad. It was better once when we ate over lunch and it was a la carte. For AYCTE it feels like they try to avoid you. I’ve only asked for seconds of one thing one time, and the server seemed genuinely puzzled about it.

We ate there on Thanksgiving day and it was just ok for us. Half the food was good and half was not. Felt bad wasting food but just couldn't eat it. Really liked the salad, pot roast and dessert. My kids liked the mac and cheese but it was too watery for me. One day we'll give it another chance but we won't be running back to eat there anytime soon.

We've eaten there many times, with our last visit being in November, and I'd honestly take the mac & cheese over their green beans. Everything else was delicious, but for some reason the green beans just didn't do it for me this time.

We ate there about a year ago. The food was what I expected. Average comfort food.
Don't even remember the mac and cheese, so it must not have been that good.

I've eaten there twice. The first time was great. The 2nd wasn't bad but some things changed on the menu, so it was a little different. We booked it again, mainly due to short notice and not very many table services available. I can tell you that if I get food that isn't good or has zero flavor, I'm not paying for it. I wouldn't do it at a local restaurant, and surely wouldn't do it at Disney prices.

That’s been our experience with most any “family style” restaurant or entree (including WC). It’s the only reason I prefer a buffet—I can get what I want WHEN I want it. In-park time is valuable to me.

We love LTT and have been 5 or so times but this year was our first Thanksgiving day visit and first family style all you care to eat experience. My kids are in high school And this is the first time they actually liked the mac & cheese at this restaurant. When they were younger it wasn’t very good in their opinion. We were pleasantly surprised that we liked everything just as well as we had on our previous visits when we were ordering off the menu. Everything was hot and tasty and refills honored when requested. I also requested sitting in diamond horseshoe to be in a less confined space due to Covid and that was honored. I absolutely LOVE the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake! Still the bomb!

We ate there last week as a party of eight and loved it! We did have to get three additional bowls of mashed potatoes as well as some other items, but the server readily brought everything. LOVED the dessert!!!!! We were in the saloon, but I didn't mind because it wasn't crowded (end of the day), so it felt very safe.

I rather like it and you can't beat the location in the middle of the park. I think it is better than most of the other restaurants within MK.

The last time we had lunch here it was good, and our grandson who was 2 at the time gave a thumbs up on the mac and cheese... that was 3 years ago... My goodness time does fly...

Your experience sounds a lot like what we encountered in Dec 2017. We were giving LTT a second chance because my first experience was pretty bad and we'd heard some decent recent reviews. It's now on our never again list. Some may have been a bad day for the LTT kitchen and some may just be personal preferences. I stock up on turkeys around Thanksgiving and we do turkey dinners throughout the year. I will say that the pot roast, while a bit fatty, was at least decent last time we went. Still...for traditional turkey dinner, we're really particular about this kind of stuff. Oh well...there are plenty of other people who love LTT and I'm sure they're happy to have less competition over ADR spots with those of us who have had bad experiences. :)
