So, just made ADRs for our trip in January and was informed that LTT will NO longer be a character meal. I was like, can you repeat that. I know to many, it will be "so what". But to those of us with kids (or those who love a good character meal ), it is sad.

I know I always enjoyed seeing Goofy in his knickers!

I am actually kind of excited! I love the LTT for lunch, maybe now they will have good food for dinner too! It is sad that the characters are leaving but there are so many other character meals! I remember one when I was little!

Not at the MK. There is only CRT and CP left for character meals. Per the CM, the menu will be staying the same at LTT.

So ummmm.... I had "heard" they were closing LTT. So they aren't closing it? They are just making it non-character? What a rip! I was excited they were closing the whole dang place! I was hoping for some decient TS at MK!!!

However, taking away characters and leaving crappy food won't solve anything. *pouts*. I guess we took care of our Oct trip. We are planning to meet a POH friend at Cali Grill instead. MK has crappy food!

If they bring the dinner food quality up to the quality of their lunch menu, then I will gladly go to LTT for dinner without characters.

Now, if you guys haven't heard yet, there is also rumor that the Woody's Cowboy Camp and the Family Fun Day Parade are going to be going away. Also, I hear tell of more character cuts coming!

I am almost glad that I am not going to WDW in 2009.

My head is spinning! I have not heard any of this! I currently have a dinner package booked for Fantasmic on Wed Sept 17th, but maybe Fantasmic won't be that night. I will have to call and check. Does anyone know which days of the week they will have Fantasmic?

And when are they going to take the characters away for LTT?

Fantasmic will run it's normal schedule till the end of the year, you should be fine in September.

I didn't know about Spectro being down to 2 nights. Is this during the summer and the rest of the year?

When I was there in 2004 they did cut spectro to only a couple nights a week during off peak. My roommate was in the parade and I always knew his schedule and I remember it varying.

Mike is right though, I'm sure the cuts are not yet finished.
