I would choose LTT, yet I have never eaten at the Plaza. We cancelled Le Cellier to eat at LTT when we went in Sept , crazy, I know, but we really wanted to go to HS to do Toy Storia Mania in the AM and MK on our last day so we cancelled Le Cellier due to touring reasons. Well I have to say it was one of our best lunches we had! The fries were awesome, the same ones they serve at Le Cellier, yummy!!!!
We love the Plaza. It's much more laid back and relaxing than LTT.
We've only had dinner at LTT which wasn't so good but that's back when they had the character meals. I understand lunch is a different menu so it could be better than dinner.
We prefer the food at the Plaza, and love the ice cream sundaes, but we're obviously in the minority on this thread, so that's just my opinion (and experience) after eating at the Plaza several times over the years.
We haven't eaten at Liberty Tree since it stopped being a character meal but we ate lunch at The Plaza in March. The Plaza is really no big deal. I agree with a previous poster that it is really just a sandwich shop. The desserts are basically ice cream-which you can get around the corner without eating a meal. The only thing that made it interesting was the "Mayor" came into the restaurant while we were there along with another Main St. character and they visited the tables. I'm glad to say I tried it but would make ADRs just about anywhere else in the MK before I'd return there.
We've been to both. And, as much as we enjoyed Liberty Tree's lunch, we definitely prefer the Plaza and it has become our "last meal" of our trip every year for the last four years. We love everything about the Plaza.
