We're having lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern and I'm torn between ordering the pot roast or the turkey dinner? Which would you recommend? :confused3

I would recommend the Pot Roast...yummmy!! But....DP prefer's the turkey!! So...to each his own!! Someone gets each one...and split!!

Definitely Turkey. It is a bit lighter (kind of) so that you don't fall asleep getting back into the park! :) I love the dinner version more but had the lunch version in March and it was great too!

In a family of roast beef lovers, I typically can't stand the stuff BUT .... the POT ROAST at LTT is AWESOME!

(Not sure what possessed me to try it last trip, other than being "chickened out", but so glad I did. Now, if only my mom and sister could cook it like that!)

I would say the pot roast. We went in May and I planned on getting it but it was just so hot out I went for the colony salad instead, so we are going again in december and I will get it then. Its the best.

Pot Roast was absolutely delicious! I had it twice in one trip... 2 days in a row for lunch.... And do try the desserts... they have a dessert with fruit and shortbread....yummy.

I love turkey so that's what I get. DH likes the pot roast.

I guess I'm not much help.

Both are awesome!!
See what you feel like when you get there-you can't go wrong.
:goodvibes

When I go out to eat, from some reason I am often torn between two menu items. I ask the waiter or waitress and they never seem to hesitate - they will always enthusiastically recommend one or the other, and I can't think of a time I have been disappointed by what they chose!

Thanks for the responses everyone! :goodvibes DH & I have decided to get one of each and then share! :thumbsup2

We have a ressie in December for the 1st time, but i thought they bring it all out like family style:confused3

So you have to choose? We will be a party of 3 Adults/3 Children

TIA

That's at dinner. The lunch menu is a la carte. :)

does lunch end and dinner begin? The lunch looks great, but I would want a late lunch and don't want to accidentaly get the dinner platter. Thanks1

According to the official site lunch is until 3:00pm, dinner starts at 4:00pm. :)
