I currently have an ADR for dinner at CP prior to MVMCP, but I am wondering if we should eat a late lunch or early dinner at LTT instead, and go to CP for a breakfast instead. Thoughts?

I wasn't that impressed with LTT but have always enjoyed breakfast at CP. Just my opinion.

I was not impressed with LTT either. It was ok food but definitely not worth the money. I would go with CP as well.

We haven't done the CP for breakfast, but we really enjoyed the dinner and the characters were great.

We tried for an ADR for CP, to see the park early before it gets crowded, but were not able to get one. We hope to try for a breakfast ADR on our next trip.

I actually liked LTT. But, I would definitely agree that Crystal Palace is better overall - better food for breakfast and for dinner.

As for the timing of everything... It depends on what you are going to do that day. Are you planning on being in the parks early in the day, then back to the resort to rest up for MVMCP?

Then, if it were me I would do an early breakfast at Crystal Palace. Go back to the resort to rest, grab food at the resort before leaving to head back to the park for MVMCP.

The times that I have gone for MVMCP, I like to be there late to see everything. I love the whole themeing of it all, with the shows and special events. So, we like to rest up before going. Depending on our week, and the types of passes that the people with us have, we won't go to MK early that day to save them on a day pass. (since you have to use a pass to get in the park early in the day, and use the separate pass to get in for the party.) Instead we would just relax at the resort, or go to DTD or something, then go to the park for MVMCP to be there late.

Whatever you decide, have fun! :wizard:

We have done Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch and really enjoyed it; we've not done dinner because I'm not a big "Thanksgiving" food type person. As for Crystal Palace, we've only done breakfast (with the exception of Biergarten and Capfe May, we've given up on lunch/dinner buffets after two horrible experiences at Hollywood & Vine and a really bad last visit to Chef Mickey's -- just bad food). I would go with lunch at LTT or breakfast at the CP (and nothing beats getting an early ADR at the CP -- 8:05 a.m. or so -- and having Main Street basically to yourself. :)

We used to enjoy LTT for dinner until they took the characters away - now we would not go to LTT for dinner because we don't think the food is worth it by itself. We have not done LTT for lunch, but I usually see nothing but positive reviews here on the DIS.

We love Crystal Palace breakfast - it is our favorite WDW breakfast. I love the puffed french toast! :worship: We also enjoy the 8:05 am adr on a non-emh day - love getting in the park early and being done it time for rope drop.

We tried Crystal Palace for dinner also last year and were not impressed - we will definitely stick to breakfast from now on. The food was average-at-best -- we've basically come to the conclusion that we don't care for dinner buffets at WDW and now avoid them if possible.

If you don't already know, remember LTT doesn't have characters.

We had dinner at Crystal Palace in Janurary and it was one of our favorite meals. We won't miss it next time we're there!
Liberty Tree was nothing special in my opinion.

We ate at both places and both were character meals at that time. I know Liberty Tree Tavern offer the charcater meal now but I think it is a great place to eat. We had dinner at LTT and boy was it good. It was superb food. I would go back there in a sec. Crystal Palace we did for the monring w/ Pooh and co. and it was nice. Good atmosphere and the food was good as well. It 's a toss up for me since I enjoyed both but if I had to pick one:I would go w/ LTT. Selection of food, I thought was good and very delicious. I am sure whichever one you decide on will work out well for you.
