liberty tree tavern or crystal palace for dinner...

The other poster was not kidding - the food at LTT is straight from Stouffer's....it's very traditional American "comfort food" but not much of it from scratch. That said, if you're basing it on a kid's food preferences they probably would enjoy the food (my kids did).;)

Based solely on food quality, etc. it would be CP hands down for us. It leans more toward the high end taste buds BUT also has the kid section on the buffet.

My boys enjoy the LTT Characters better. My dd enjoys the CP characters better. If you can only experience one, however, I'd go with CP for the experience. It's sort of an MK hallmark IMHO. :wizard:

My vote is CP. A priority for every trip. Great food and character interaction. We've tried LTT a few times and we just don't like the food. We are always cold in there too. They can't adjust the temp and no matter where we have sat we have cold air blowing on us.

THANKS!! everyone for all your info....I decided to take the kids to the crystal palace and with the hopes maybe we could also go to liberty tree.

You probably made the best choice for your family. CP is good, and as one poster mentioned, it is a bit upscale as buffets go. We like both, but prefer LTT dinner over CP. I will add, if you are considering trying LTT, you might want to make a ressie. It is one place that tends to book up, so not likely you will walk up and get seated. Just my 2 cents.
