Help me choose. We will be in Magic Kingdom and need a good sit down restaurant for supper.
We've narrowed it down to either Liberty Tree or Crystal Palace. We have done both in the past and never been disappointed with either.

Whats your favorite?

Also done both and we like LTT better.

it is slower paced, a little calmer and we really like family style after a long day. i agree however, both are good.

We love both too,
but if you're looking to slow down I would vote for LTT too.

CP is wonderful, but because everyone is up and down for
food it can be quite noisy and busy.
Plus you & your's have to get up & down for food too...
and depending on the ages of your kids that can mean
you up down frequently!

At LTT you can all just relax!
Have fun!!
:thumbsup2

Did the LTT on 3/1, and thought it was the best meal of our whole trip. The character interaction was the best, and the food was genuinely delicious-hot-and plentiful. The wait staff was great that night, and the atmosphere just right for the end of our busy day. Go to LTT, you wont regret it! Have fun :thumbsup2

We like both of them but LTT is always a "must do" on our trips. The food is good and it just seems less rushed than other character meals. The butter (honey butter) is to die for. If you time it right you can be finished dinner and go outside on the "porch" and watch the parade come by.

We have also done both and like LTT better. The characters were about the best I have seen at any character meal - They were fun to watch even when they weren't at your table. I thought the food was very good at both places, but like the fact that LTT brings the food to you as opposed to standing in a buffet line. I also like the theming at LTT better.

LTT is very good. We typically don't do many buffets. (we get too grossed out at them).

Does LTT have that great banana bread pudding (BBP) on the sweets buffet at CP? CP is a fav because DW and DC love the 100 acre wood. But LTT sounds more relaxing. If it serves the BBP, we're in!!!

:woohoo:

While we're big kids at heart and enjoy the character interaction, we really like the wide variety and quality of food at CP. On our last trip down at Christmas we decided to try LTT for dinner. Perhaps we hit it on an off night but the food was pretty much pre-packaged TV dinner type. The salad and the dessert were the best part of the meal. The atmosphere at both places is good, but we won't go back to LTT for dinner. We will continue to have lunch there as we found the lunch food to be very good.

And I was beginning to think I was the only one that didn't like some of the food at WDW. We did LTT a few days ago. The hot rolls and butter were good. So were the salad and apple cobbler. The main course was not that great. Paper thin slices of ham and cheap beef. The turkey was OK. All in all, nothing I'd pay for on the outside of WDW. The characters were great though.

Everytime we've been to LTT we've had great service, good character interaction, nice relaxation, and good food. It took us years to get around to trying LTT, now won't miss it during our trips.

CP is also very good food (bigger variety for sure). We've had great service here too, but have chosen LTT last several trips.

We did CP last September and LTT just 2 nights ago for the first time. We'd go to LTT again in a heartbeat. We loved it. The food, atmosphere and theming were great. We did CP for dinner in September and hated it and we are usually very easy to please. If we were to go to CP again, I'd schedule a breakfast and hope for a better meal than what we had at dinner.

I think LTT is much more relaxing and we love the family style meal. The rustic restaurant has a nice homey feeling to it and the food is really good too. The Characters are always good and seem less rushed then at the CP which is a much larger restaurant. :thumbsup2

I have not eaten at CP so I cant say anything about that, but I have to say that I was very dissapointed by LTT. I was very excited about eating there but overall I found the food to be pretty mediocre. The rolls were good and the salad was fine. I found the main course to be nothing more than frozen dinner type food. I am not a very picky eater, but I just did not care for the food. Now the character interaction was wonderful. The characters were around very frequently and my kids got plenty of attention.
They had alot of fun.

For dinner, we would probably do LTT. We enjoy CP but think that the price is a little high for dinner with respect to what you get in the buffet line.

My vote is for CP. I eat there at least once, if not twice!, during each trip. The food is good, and the restaurant is beautiful. We tried the LTT during our 10/05 trip, and were not very impressed with it.

To be honest, we didn't really care for the Crystal Palace dinner. There were some good things but really was kind of disappointed. :confused3 My DH is very picky and really didn't care for it at all. Had only 1 small plate of food. :sad2: We did eat at Liberty Tree Tavern last year and we both really enjoyed that. Nothing that even the most finickey eater wouldn't enjoy! I guess it depends on your tastes. I would do LTT again but not CP. We did however LOVE Crystal Palace's breakfast...My suggestion do CP in the a.m. LTT for dinner :teeth:
