Liberty Tree Tavern Mugs

Okay, so I am aware that you can purchase the mugs at LTT. Does anyone know if they can have them delivered to your resort, or if you would have to take them with you?

Also, just a general question: to have items delivered to your resort, do you have to charge with your room key, or can you use any form of payment and then just show them your room key?

Not sure about the mug, but I believe just about every purchase can be delivered to your resort. I do not believe you are required to use your TTW card for the purchase, I just find it easier. You will have to fill out a form with your instructions to be attached to your purchase. Your purchase will then be delivered to the resort gift shop. It should be available by the following afternoon, I believe.

But for other purchases, you don't have to charge purchases on your KTTW card. You can pay any way you like but just tell them that you'd like it sent back to your resort. They'll have you fill out a form w/ your name, resort, room number (and phone # I believe). Then, you get a copy of the form and you are good to go. The next day you'll be able to go to the resort gift shop and pick up your purchase. It's so convenient to be able to just send everything to your resort. ( I don't think you can't do this the day before you check out though because your purchases may not be at the resort by the time you're ready to leave ....just keep that in mind)

I absolutely love, love, love the package delivery option!! I didn't try it for the 1st time until '07 & kicked myself for not doing it sooner! Why did I ever lug those bags around with me?! My daughters keep any pins they buy but we send pretty much everything else back to the resort. Last trip I bought two large picture frames at MK & was nervous that they would have broken glass or be damaged in some way but they were in perfect condition. I've also used it for Christmas ornaments too (the big Mickey head breakable kind).

I believe there are some places around the WS that said it took 2 days instead of the usual 1 day. It might have had something to do with the time of day I was making the purchase but I'm not certain. The CMs always ask you when you're leaving to prevent missing any of your packages.

Not sure if LTT can do it, but there should/could be another way around it.

Like others said, you don't need to pay with you KTTK card to have it sent to resort, getting it all sent to the resort mainly deals with the form they make you fill out, and whether or not it takes one or two depends on whether you have made it for that shops pick up for the day. (for example, early evening for Emporium, but fairly early in AK)

Now, one time my son won a bunch of animals at AK, and I was able to take those to the nearest shop and they were willing to let me send those back to the room, so not sure if you could do that with the mugs. It certainly wouldn't hurt to take them to, say, the emporium, and ask if they can send it back to your room.

I attempted this on my trip to the World last September.

You may find different experiences with different CM's. But this was mine...

They could NOT ship it to my resort (they didn't even have the forms there). They told me no way. We were there before MNSSHP so I reallllly didn't want to carry it with me. I went to guest relations at the front of the park (outside the train station before the turnstiles). I asked a CM there to send it to my resort for me. He had to ask someone and ring up a fake receipt (on the form) but had me fill out all of my information and sent it for me!

The next day it arrived... in a box, tissue wrapped with little princess stickers on it, and some stuck inside for me (it was just alone in a bag when I gave it to him) I doubt you'd be able to do it at LTT unless something changed since then, but try at Guest Relations

I've had it delivered to my resort before, you just have to take it to the Christmas shop next door to fill out the form.

We bought them our last trip and used our Disney rewards card for the purchase. I am sure they will take any form of payment

They were shipped to our resort from LTT with no problem.

We could NOT ship them home though. Because they were not a "gift shop" purchase, there was not a "receipt" that they would honor in case they broke during shipping. So we just packed them in a carry-on and brought them home ourselves. They were sent to our hotel each in it's own box and SUPER wrapped with tissue paper so we had plenty of packing around them and not one broke in transit.

I tried posting pictures, but as you can see.....it didn't work. Sorry.
Okay, the fabulous mmackeymouse helped me post the pics. I did one empty, but stuffed the mug so you can see the detail. There is a different pic on each side. Really nice mugs!

Hey, the reason they did not work is you need a backslash before that last IMG, like /IMG. Then, it should work. I cannot believe I am helping a Pats fan. Disney really is Magical.

I hope they are as accomodating to me as they were for you guys. If not, I will just go next door. I just feel weird going in there, not buying anything, then asking for a favor like that. But, I know they all work for the same Mouse so....yeah, anyway.

We carried our mug when we got it at the Liberty Tree Tavern. We only had one and put it in our backpack. I don't recall the option to ship it to the resort. This was a few years ago, when they still had characters.

we bought 2 mugs after our lunch there in June - and I LOVE THEM!!

they're quite heavy and are very comfortable...

we just opted to carry them with us, and they were fine - it was also our last day, so we didnt have "time" to have them sent to the hotel.

They were $5 each if I remember correctly..

I'd buy more next time!
