Liberty Tree Tavern - Lunch Time

Just wondering if LTT is Character only at dinner or it the characters are there for lunch time too? Also, what are the chances of getting into LTT for lunch one day at MK if we don't have an ADR?

We fly into Orlando at 11:00AM and are thinking we'll drop our bags and head straight for MK....and thought LTT might be a good place for lunch that day....

Thoughts?

LTT has no characters for dinner anymore.

Prior to January 5 they had characters for dinner only, lunch has been character free. Now all meals are character free.

Why not go ahead and make an ADR? There is no cost/deposit required, and if your plans change, just call and cancel. An alternative would be the Plaza Restaurant. Great sandwiches and excellent ice cream desserts. Tha Plaza is also one of the least expensive TS restaurants at WDW.

It can be difficult to walk into any TS restaurant near a meal time. Make an ADR and if you won't be able to make it, just call and cancel. If you decide to try a walk in, and can't, I'd recommend Columbia Harbor House (CS) for lunch. They have great sandwiches, soup, fried fish & chicken strips.

FWIW, LTT lunch is one of my favorites! I never cared for their dinner, but love their lunch menu

If you do end up at Columbia Harbor House (which I recommend!) go UPSTAIRS to eat. There is hardly anyone up there and you can have a much more relaxing, quieter meal.

My husband and I usually end up eating there more than once and it is our favorite place to stop in MK.

We have walked into LIberty without reservations. We always go to lunch/dinner either earlier or later to avoid the meal rush.

We plan, at least we say this now, to eat on our own time. Which is basically 1 hour ahead of the usual times. Thanks for all your suggestions....Columbia Harbour House sounds yummy too...

The LTT menu at lunch is excellent.I was so hoping now that the characters were gone they would have the lunch menu for dinner too.
