Liberty Tree Tavern Doing Away With Character Dinner

I just read on another blog that Disney is doing away with one of my favorite character dinners. What are they thinking? I think I read that it will be discontinued in January but Im not sure. We always eat here on our last night of vacation.

I read this as well and as it is one of the few places that serves roasted turkey, which my son loves, we really wanted to get in while there were still characters.

Two birds with one stone, right.

So, today I made ressies for January 4th which I'd read was the last day for characters. The agent I spoke to confirmed that it is the last day so we just got in under the wire.

I'm still a little nervous. Last meal of the last day for characters.

But. . . Yay!! Turkey and characters! My son is a very picky eater.

We have always enjoyed the food here. I have 2 picky eaters myself. We will still eat here but I will miss Goofy and the gang.

Now im so glad we are going to eat there in Sept .I had always wanted to try and am glad to get the oportunity this time round.

Love the LTT. I'll miss the characters but I think it is just moving to the Golden Horseshoe, right?
