I posted this on the restaurants board, but thought that with all of the current threads regarding MNSSHP and LTT, that it might be better asked here.

I just made reservations for the LTT for 10/26 prior to MNSSHP.

The CM, who took my reservation said that normally LTT is all-you-care-to-eat, in which the servers bring the food to your table; however for MNSSHP nights it is a buffet. Is there anyone, who has attended MNSSHP and eaten at LTT, who can confirm this?

Also, I am a little concerned about whether or not there will be anything that my 4-year-old will eat. He currently won't eat any meat. Is there enough variety in the offerings to satisfy kids, who normally eat PB&Js, grilled cheese and chicken fingers?

Thank you for any and all responses!

We ate at LTT the past two years before MNSSHP and it has always been the usual family-style character meal. Ihaven't heard anything about it being switched to a buffet so if it has, it's news to me. I didn't make my ressies yet for this year. I must be slow, I didn't realize we were able to make them yet!

just want to add something here. when i made my second PS for LTT for dinner on Oct 24 the CM forgot to ask for my credit card,
the PSs for the Party nights are considered like holliday PSs and require credit card guarantee, I called back to check and indeed it was not on the listing the new CM said it was good I called back or the PS would have been dropped for no guarantee.
She did not say if they would have called first or anything, or just cancel it.
But any of you making the PS for MNSSHP nights make sure they took your credit card info.

Just a quick ? Do they charge a deposit to your card or just need the number to hold it?

I ate there last year during MNSSHP and it was the same dining procedure as any other time, except the characters are dressed in costumes.

Also I didn't have to give a credit card number when I made reservations this year or last. I called today to verify if a credit card was needed and she said no. My reservation number was still there.

Do you think only certain people are asked to make a deposit? We make alot of PS reservations at WDW and make it to at least 95% of them. We've also been there 3 times within the last year, including MNSSHP. They (Disney) keep extensive records of your visits and the things you do so perhaps if you regularly use the PS system and show up they are more lenient

I've never had to give a credit card number for LTT before and the CM I spoke to yesterday didn't ask for one. Not sure what that was all about. The only place I ever gave a credit card for was Cindy's.

Ok I just called and made my ressi for 11/28 for 5:00 and they do not need cc for this event I was giving a conformation number and she also said they just had a meeting yesterday about this b/c all the calls they were getting.

No CC required for LTT. All they are doing is opening up the PS early for party goers rather than making us wait till 90 days out. No need for CC.

I've gone to 4 parties so far and have never had to give a CC.

I made reservations Saturday for LTT and had to give them a credit card. They said it was because it was a special event. It is really amazing how different CM's follow different policies.

It is to hold it, they only charge it if you don't show up or cancel in time. I forget if it is 24 or 48 hours ahead of time.

Nope it seems that if the CM is not looking at the right screen or used to booking these special events they don't know that the credit card hold is required. But when I had her look to be sure she found it and it said yes it IS required, because it is a special event. it was not clear when the res without it would drop off, probably somewhere down the line when they go over these things, anyway that is why I posted as I suspected that many people were not being told it was needed.

As for the Priority seating, I make them all the time and I have never missed one or shown up late for one.

Just called (which I'm sure others did after reading this thread) and the CM assured me there was no need for a CC hold for LTT PS.

She said they only take CC for PS on holidays.

FYI...at the top of this board is a MNSSHP Party Central thread started and that is where we should now be posting our questions so they are all in one place.::yes::
